Any comments?
I find Kaine is SO annoying!! I can't quite put a finger on it - his voice, his mannerism, his expressions...he seems to have quite the sissified feminism side to him or something...gag me!

Yeah, that's about all I came away with worth commenting on...

I felt that Pence was unsatisfactory in his defenses of Trump.

I wish both would have been less confrontational and would have answered calmly and rationally. We seem to live in a day that this is impossible.

Pence was very reasonable, well spoken, made a clear case and defended Trump well. Pence won the debate by leaps and bounds. If he were the top of the ticket I would vote for him in a second.

The further Pence distanced himself from Trump the better he looked. As Rev. said the GOP would have a much better chance if Pence were the presidential candidate. But it is Trump who is the presidential candidate and he is totally unfit for the office.

As usual neither candidate answered the questions. Kaine was continually interrupting and talking over Pence. It seemed the moderator interrupted Pence and tried to stop him from talking more often than she did Kaine.

Kaine kept trying to make it about Trump's statements but Pence never took the bait. Pence would point out foreign policy gaffes by Hillary to which Kaine would say, "but, but... we got bin Laden" (Anybody else bothered that Kaine makes it sound like Hillary had strapped on NVG's and was part of the Pakistani raid?)

In short, Kaine was annoying, Pence was composed. Kaine appeared less likable than Hillary, something I previously would have thought impossible. Pence won.

Pence did answer questions when he was given an opportunity without being interrupted by Kain or the mod. It is clear Kain's goal was to be a disruptive force.

After much consideration I've winnowed it down to one particular thing--his left eyebrow. It's all over the place. Up, down. Wrinkled, arched. It's like watching a caterpillar dance on his face. Sad, really.

The debate was most likely Pence's opening round of his 2020 presidential run. What think you?

You're assuming Trump/Pence will lose the election this year.

If so, what's he going to do in the years 2017-2019? He won't hold any office. Go back to talk radio? Be on Trump's new cable TV news channel? Otherwise he will be out of the public eye for three years.

Most seriously I am not assuming they win or do not win. I believe if Trump is elected he will be so bad and the country will be in such terrible shape, economy, domestically and in foreign affairs that for even Trump supporters it will be "anyone but Trump". Pence will position himself for the nomination. By then the GOP will be in such a deep dog house it will be a very trough climb for any GOP candidate. This is my true feelings on this.

He will continue building of a nationwide campaign team if they do not win the election, positioning himself for the nomination.

Oh, no, not at all. Trump would be much worse than Obama and even much worse than G. Bush. No former president would come close to being as bad as Trump would be. And, yes, I am very serious in my feeling about him.

Oh Great! Something else to take note of and be annoyed by...

Hopefully this guy will be a fading memory in about 33 days... ;)
