Well, there was the "Aroostook War" over the border between Maine & New Brunswick, which ended before any fighting occurred, & the Mormon War, that ended when Joey Smith surrendered when his band was faced with overwhelming force.
In 1830, President Andrew Jackson signed the Indian Removal Act, allowing the U.S. government to relocate Indians from their land east of the Mississippi River. In 1838, the government forcibly removed around 15,000 Cherokee from their homeland and made them walk more than 1,200 miles west. Over 3,000 Indians died on the grueling route, known as the Trail of Tears. The involuntary relocation fueled the Indians’ anger toward the U.S. government.

No matter how hard & well the Indians fought, they were simply vastly outnumbered & out-teched by their foe.
The idea of paying reparations now for what then happened between long-dead people is ridiculous.Should England demand reparations from Norway over William The Conqueror's takeover in 1066? More recently, should the Koreas demand reparations from Japan for 35 years of occupation & rule from 1910 thru 1945?
In 2028 President Harris signed the Christian Removal Act, allowing the US government to do as they saw fit to immoral rebellious people who claimed to know the God of the bible. Relocation, imprisonment, labor camps, or elimination are popular and culturally approved options.

You likely read right. No Indians of any nation had much, if any, resistance to diseases brought over from Europe, especially smallpox & cholera, which often killed an Indian in one day. Europeans often recovered from those, & other infectious diseases indigenous to Europe.
But the BIGGEST sin Euros committed against Indians was introducing them to alcohol. Almost all Indians of any nation are highly-susceptible to alcoholism, & more than one "trader" or Indian agent kept the locals supplied with booze Many of those men are now in the 'torments' area of hades for destroying other peoples' lives with alcohol.
Two tragic Indian deaths due to alcoholism were Louis Sockalexis, a Penobscot outfielder for the Cleveland Spiders (D. age 42) & Ira Hayes, a Pima, who was in the famous pic of the flag-raising on Iwo Jima, at age 32.
