Theology the Queen of the sciences

I can tell you were MacArthur is wrong

In his view that the blood of Christ was not shed for all people.
The sacrifice of Christ, His shedding of His own blood, bestowed blessings on all of mankind and was thus "shed for all." But it was shed in the specific, salvific, way only for those who believe.

The term world does not refer to every single person but to every type of person.
No, its the whole world

1 John 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

None of these support the blood limited to the elect only.

John was extremely specific that the blood was shed for ALL sin of all in the world.

No one will stand before God with the excuse the blood was not shed for them.

Eternity is NOT BASED on blood, but on belief.

Do you not know this is one of the reasons Paul could preach reconciliation irregardless of the audience?

Yes, I know them all studied them all, I am neither C or A.

I have significant difficulties with certain parts of both.

One thing I know Christ died for all men including the wicked, He purchased the wicked, they are his to do with as He pleases.

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Proverbs 16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

Psalm 115:3 But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

I posted on the Baptist Board a few weeks ago that Theology is the Queen of the Sciences and everyone ignored me. But then my education was old-fashioned.

My guess is that it's the hypocrisy of the OP that caused many to take notice as its author has no business criticizing others for ignoring biblical doctrine. That said, I'm not sure that classifying theology as the "queen of the sciences" is really a complement these days.

Why not? There would be no science outside of the Jews and then the Christians--only the babbling of the Greeks (and other heathen), who dreamt up evolution and other scientific frauds.

Science is, by definition, the systematic study of the physical or natural world through observation. I believe God is greater than this.

Which often change.

Agreed. “Thinking God’s thoughts after Him” Johann Kepler (1571-1630) It is wanting to know about God's Creation six thousand years ago that led to scientific inquiry of all sorts, hence the respect for Theology as the Queen of the Sciences.
