Clever.

Question: which is more believable by the general masses?

It has become an almost daily event where police and/or innocents are mowed down, run over, beheaded, burned, crucified or blown up.

I'd rather have an optimist in the White House than a self-serving, egotistic pessimist.

Did you vote the b.o., who campaigned on how awful the country is and claimed Congress should always approve his recommendations? (and whose son, if he had one, would look like the sniper who shot 6 police officers in Dallas)?

You must be a Republican, always looking at the past; always negative, never positive and hopeful. Try asking an intelligently, thought out questions. Thanks in advance.

I have recently explained my politics and my general voting history, so I'm not going to do so again-- you see, I don't always look to the post. But if you believe the Bible and you can read about the fate of this world, and be hopeful about it, you're loony. Oh, excuse me-- you wanted a comment made intelligently... you're psychopathic.

This is a fact. Donald Trump is light years better than the clown that ran on the Republican ticket four years ago. A cult member that denies the Deity of Christ, and flat out lied about his stance on abortion, same sex marriage, gun control and government run health insurance. Mr. Romney tried to derail the nominee this year, but failed. I am not crazy about Donald Trumps antics at the podium, but this is the only chance we have this election.

Crab oh buddy, I think I have pinpointed your problem with politics. While you seem to embrace Democrats that are liberals (come to think of it they all are), you seem to have a real problem with recognizing the difference between liberal and conservative Republicans. If you would learn that skill, you would have lots more allies, like Mitch McConnell, Chris Christie, Mitt Romney, Former Speaker Bonehead, John McCain, Lowell Weiker, etc, etc etc. What I do not understand, is, despite your insatiable need to commune with liberals like Elizabeth Warren, why on earth would you vote for someone like Hillary Clinton who is nothing but a criminal. That has nothing to do with the liberal-conservative debate. She is probably guilty of treason, murder bribery, compromising the security of our nation. and a few we do not know about yet. Hillary Clinton never created one job. Its your conscience, do as you please.

AD, I do not like either candidate. This is an election where many people are going to vote for the person they dislike the least.

Very likely I would have voted for any other Republican candidate. Not a given, but a possibility. It would have depended on the party platform that person ran on and the positions they espoused.

I see nothing in the ego driven Trump that makes me believe he will be any other than a complete disaster for the USA. Not to argue, but Trump has very likely already committed treason, he has cheated and lied and ruined many peoples lives, I expect he has bribed and been bribed, I believe he would compromise the security of our country. We do not know all he has done.

On the bribery, dealing with countries like Russia is impossible without bribing government officials. One of the students at the seminary in Prague wrote their masters thesis on the impossibility of simply living in their country without participating in corruption. I have seen this firsthand, but for safety reasons cannot go into detail. We, in general, here in the USA have no concept of what corruption is like in those countries.

IMO Hillary is a common criminal, and that has nothing to do with the liberal-conservative debate. Of course, we are going to disagree with the way each would run the country. I do not object to Trump being politically uncorrect, in fact it is quite refreshing. However one can take it too far when one mocks the disabled, and gets into a scrap with a Muslim family that lost a son defending this country. The real tragedy is not the remarks, but it gives Clinton an immense amount of material for commercials and it really looks bad. And while I think insults are funny at times, I am not running for President. The reality is there are huge blocks of voters that are Catholic, Latino, and women. He needs them all. It might offend enough voters to give Clinton enough votes to win. You cannot stand upon a debate stage, look over at a woman candidate, and say "who would vote for a face like that?" He needs to stop the antics now and address the issues.

The Bible was written in the past, The word of God is not always positive and hopeful especially I would think CTB for those who support baby murder.

Yes, the "War to End All Wars" was quite discouraging to the Post-Mil crowd.

But they did have a great theme-song. "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" - that anthem to Post Millennialism. :D
