This church sign just struck me as wrong.

The biggest challenge I have is that I only have TWO LINES to work with. <snip>
Two lines makes things more difficult but not impossible. I pray no one would EVER have cause to "cringe" by what they see on our sign. God Bless Ya'll.

Bro.Greg:saint:

Two lines are tough! That's what we have, and considered changing it to 3 lines of text, but would have to change to 6" letters over 8" letters and at 50+ mph it makes it tough to read, so we stayed with the 8" and will continue the challenge of finding signs that fit.

I love your title "minister of signage"! The job at our church passes around to several pairs...it gets harder and harder to find things to say that are meaningful and catch people's attention.

Nothing wrong in re-using some of the slogans

Repetition is great

I'm sure we've repeated ourselves lol...but what I meant was that when only one person is doing it it gets harder and harder to find things that appeal. Sort of a "I've heard it all before" kind of feeling. So we switch off, new blood, new ideas. Also, a lot of folks will jot down signs they see on their travels and give them to the sign folks.
