Unfortunately the biggest (granted not only) source of misinformation has been the anti-covid-vaxers.

sure JonC. Just keep repeating that to yourself to reinforce the idea.

I'm sorry for your loss ... but I must ask; do you know if the deceased was treated in accordance with AMA/CDC recommendations? did the deceased have access to any early treatment?

I really think you should consider putting your pom poms back in the closet on this thing until next summer anyway ... but I know you won't. you're FAR too invested personally in this narrative and that's a shame. But it is what it is.

Nah....I'm not invested personally. I am vaccinated. Nothing more to do about it.

It is the unvaccinated who have skin in the game. That is why it continues to be a discussion.

OK ... I apologize for presuming the personal involvement ... let's say you are significantly invested. I'm not sure why, but hey there's still some semblance of freedom remaining in this country.

We'll understand it better by and by ... and that understanding is going to spread with that passage of time. This cv vax was unnecessary at best. We could have had an MLV in much fewer doses, but we only needed to vax a fraction of what we have vaxed; the truly susceptible.

Problem is ... the govt will never divest it was wrong, nor will the media, so even if the govt DID publish a paper, virtually no one would know it. Lockdowns, all mask all the time, and mass vaxes contributed to this still being a discussion rather than a couple bullets in a history class.

then let the unvaccinated make their choice and leave them alone.

The response will include “no body is forcing you”. Choices have consequences ... private business has rights. (As if there are no other regulations pertaining to employees) ... oh and something about socialism will be jammed in there with the finesse of shifting gears on a 1962 Chevrolet bus.

... and IDK where to put this comment ...

But ... there’s been no commercially available mRNA rabies vax. There were trials of this vax for rabies, but it was never offered because it never passed the standard safety protocol. That doesn’t mean no human has never been injected with such a substance, but it DOES mean it wasn’t good enough to pass the standard. The rabies vax available is an MLV type vaccine.

Neither is this one ... but we have been cajoled into believing the only way out of this pestilence is to take a jab.

... and furthermore ... these studies which show reinfection include those who have been rechallenged clinically ... e.g. had the pathogen injected directly into ‘em in a far higher concentration than ever would be seen in “the wild.” So while it’s not absolute, natural immunity is FAR superior to this cv jab’s immunity.

Nah. What should happen is people make their choices after weighing the consequences. Other people let them do so.

Neither side should whine about tge consequences of their decisions. Those who had adverse reactions to a vaccine knew it was a possibility. Those who lost their job because they refused to meet the requirements of employment knew it was a consequence.

And moments after I clicked send or whatever ... I was feeling bad for presuming what JonC would say.

;)

There are a lot of inhibitions against wrongdoing in the ebb/flow of business and employment. Clearly bodily autonomy should be one ... especially when the rules are changed after the fact based upon an enormously magnified problem.

This is false information. I'll assume you thought it true and help you correct your error.

The rabies vaccine was not designed for commercial use (there was no need for the vaccine commercially and no application for approval was submitted). It was part of developing mRNA vaccines (that is what ModeRNA Technologies were doing since 2010).

You would "put it" in the category of proving mRNA vaccines can be effective, safe, as well as demonstrating the feasibility of boosters (i.r., the conclusion of the study).

The reason it us important is tge science-deniers like to pretend the mRNA covid vaccines are brand new types of vaccines while ignoring the past mRNA studies carry forward into the development of the covid mRNA vaccines.

I am glad I could help. I just logged on and realized you guys were gossiping about me rather than addressing me.

I expected this from some (there are gossips on this board), but for your part I was surprised. I figure yesterday's turkey the culprit.

I thought it would help if I interrupted the gossip.

A couple of applicable proverbs:
It’s the bit dog that yelps,
If the shoe fits, wear it

I’m sure there are more, but these two suffice to make the point!!!!! :Laugh:Rolleyes

I have a pit bull. You know, they don't yelp when bit. I don't know why. They just keep on. I don't take him to dog parks much.

This is what the OP is about. It will be marketed through venues like this. Oh, & Elmo will probably ‘come out’ at the same time.

Useful for their trial, folders filling up……Jon declares people are gossiping about him, & he even has a pit bull, so don’t mess with him, hahaha.

You misunderstand. My dog likes people. He just does not like other dogs.

If you come to the Augusta area give me a shout. You are welcome over for coffee.

And don't get me wrong - gossiping is not against the rules as far as I can tell. It's just one of my many pet peeves.

I hate seeing members naming other members without using the "@" so that they know. I don't like seeing people talking about members by name rather than addressing them. But that is just me.
