I think that the drugs got her into an altered frame of mind, where Satan Himself could really mess her up!I'm sure the drugs had nothing to do with it.
I am just glad that she stated that while now physically blind, she now can really see!Just when you thought you heard everything.. You haven't!... ... Brother Glen
How do you know it was not the discipline of God? Or perhaps something that God was using to move her away from drugs and draw her to Himself (I've heard such testimonies)?I think that the drugs got her into an altered frame of mind, where Satan Himself could really mess her up!
Does make one wonder just how much of thewicked thinks done while under drugs/alcohol by unsaved could be full on demonic!

He would though desire to see her maim herself, as God would not require that to have her come near to Him, as jesus paid that price !I will have to disagree with you, my friend.
Satan works in far more subtile ways. His strategy is to remain unseen — to "fly under the radar".
You really thin God would command us to pull our eyeballs out in order to give to Him a sacrifice worthy to come to Him? I would see this as Joseph situation, what satan intended for evil, God will turn around for His glory and her good! How do you know it was not the discipline of God? I believe God could allow a Christian to face the consequences of their drug use as a discipline or correction. I also believe God could allow a non-Christian to engage in such destructive behavior as a means of drawing them to Himself. You really thin God would command us to pull our eyeballs out in order to give to Him a sacrifice worthy to come to Him? I understand here situation, but my problem is that you seem to say that the voice telling her to main herself was God!I believe God could allow a Christian to face the consequences of their drug use as a discipline or correction. Have you ever heard of Joni Eareckson Tada? Do you think perhaps her accident was less Satan causing her to misjudge the depth of the water and more an activity of God in her life? I mean....is it possible?

I still find it very hard to believe that God would have commanded her to pull her own eyes in order to appease Him!Two truths:
1) And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
2) If one does not love God and is not called according to His purpose, even "good" thing that happen to him only condemn him. Every single thing that happens to an unregenerate man is for his his ultimate condemnation.

Yes, have read thru the entire Bible many times, and think that God can and will use this for her good, as she claimed to be able to now spiritually see, but think that He permitted satan to get inside of her head due to being under the influence of drugs.I am not saying that He did anything like that, but what is worse, to have no eyes or to be cast into Hell? God uses apparently crazy things to bring about His plan. Have you read the OT?
