Our American scientists are not well-educated on this topic and they mostly are talking politics. We are looking at a 1 degree increase in 125 years or so. That could be caused by inaccurate observations. The sun seems to go in cycles:

I’m not certain historical trends can be relied upon when it concerns prophecy.

Although the scriptures do indicate some will rely upon the “status quo.”
3Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with theirmocking, following after their own lusts, 4and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.” 5For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, 6through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. 7But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

The problem is the poorly qualified professors in our universities.

Well skipping school sailing around the world on rich capitalist yachts while complaining she’s had her childhood ripped from her Has elevated her status to unassailable climate hero.

Trump ripped her up pretty good this morning on his his Twitter feed. Funny stuff.

You should see the left crying about this on Facebook - "mean old Trump is picking on a child!". You put a child in with an adult topic, this is what you get.

She is the rag's choice of Person of the Year, fine by me. It's not like it really matters, though I would have picked Barr but the rag is run by leftist loons. I think they should have picked this guy:

Donald Trump was Time’s person of the year in 2016.

In 1938 it was Hitler.

Joseph Stalin In 39. And 42.

I feel sorry for poor Greta. She's having her 15 minutes of fame as a child. Her star is already waning. For the rest of her life she'll be looking backwards instead of forwards, and wondering what happened.
She won't be wondering, she will be living in fear of the sudden destruction of the planet.

That rag quit being relevant to me many years ago. It should be following the way of Newsweek into oblivion before too long.

WORLD—According to sources, a girl who has a pretty awesome childhood, gaining fame and accolades and even being featured on the cover of Time Magazine lectured the nation for stealing her dreams and her childhood.
"You have stolen my dreams and my childhood," said the girl who had a pretty good childhood, sailing around the world, getting fame, fortune, and praise and also being entirely immune from criticism because she's both a brave activist and also just a child. "How dare you."

Despite her scathing lecture laying out all the ways in which adults have destroyed her childhood, she's a sought-after speaker over whom most of the world fawns, garnering breathless media praise and attention for telling others how to live their lives. The girl is currently living out her exact dreams and having "one of the most awesome childhoods of all time," so it's unclear how her childhood was stolen from her.

Makes sense since the award is for people who do the most to influence events in the world. It also points out the lightweight choice of Greta this year.

Hypocrisy has come out of the closet, along with every other evil. This world is prepared to embrace the Antichrist.

Now the poor child who had her childhood stolen says that world leaders should be put up against the wall, but then she apologized and said that it was translated from Swedish and just means in Swedish that they should be put on the spot and made to answer questions. Ah, the perils of world leadership on the climate issue.

Good point! She went all over the USA and Canada and then went by expensive catamaran to Spain. Her mother is an opera singer and her father is an actor I think so donations must be paying for everything. The family is very leftist.

Solar panels and windmills never pay for themselves. Carbon dioxide is good for plants. Plant life is dependent upon animal life. Windmills are killing bats and birds by the millions. It is thought that windmills in the oceans cause whales to die.

It's Time Magazine. So be it!

When Time Magazine was started in 1923 by Henry Luce, it was a staunch Republican magazine. Now it is a liberal magazine. I read it weekly all through high school in the 1950s but now I have not read it for many decades. I also used to read US News and World Report and Newsweek every week. Actually, US News and World Report was often more conservative than Time. They are all liberal now. Time Magazine is just a joke now. Sometimes I see it in the doctor's office waiting room. None of them are in the barber shops anymore. Newsweek was always the most liberal. I don't buy magazines anymore--do you?
