 Aren't we all.

Personally I think Sheehan finally realized the Dems were not all they cracked up to be. I could have told her that, but they coddled her in order to win votes, then dropped her like a bad hat. That's way of politics in this country right or left. Sad indeed. I didn't agree with pretty much anyone Dem or Rep when the Iraq mess started and I don't agree with them now. Again, that's the way of politics in this country. Again sad indeed.

I agreed with the war in Iraq and I still do. It's a challenge but not a mess.

I do not believe we got into the Iraq war by false pretenses or lies of President Bush. We had good intelligence - Saddam did have weapons of mass destruction , but Saddam did have help in getting rid of them before the war started.

Nevertheless, some people will not let facts get in the way of their effort to put Bush down at all costs.

I think we were wrong to ever support Saddam in the past and I am glad he is gone now.

I wouldn't put much stock in any report in the Washington Times. Its a Moonie rag. Corroborating evidence from other sources would be needed.

You might want to look at this thread - newest development:

In a briefing with reporters earlier today, Lt. Gen. Raymond Odierno said U.S. commanders at all levels are being empowered to reach out for talks with militants, tribes, religious leaders and others, including insurgents and sectarian rivals.
