Yes, indeed, probably the same ones who did not translate "baptizo"(immerse), "ecclesia"(assembly), and "pascha" was translated "Easter" instead of "passover" in the book of Acts. "Angelos" would have been better translated "messenger" in many places.

The Word of God is still without divine error--God cannot make a mistake. Man can and does make errors quite often.

Selah,

Oh, ok, since Herod was referring to his concept of the period of time known as Easter, the Word of God is now wrong? Not!

And each reference you've given? Better look a little closer at the Greek, friend.

Hey everyone, POR is right and everyone else is wrong, so the debate is over.

It really is time to let this dead dog lie. The best thing to do is treat him like a gossip, ie. ignore him and maybe he will go away. He does not want to discuss or even properly debate the issue, he just wants to sow discord among the brethren. Let him go, it is past time to release him to deal with the fruit of his attitude.

And you were there when they "did this", weren't you?
No, and neither were you. Which means that you do not know what the original said. You have the same thing I do ... the manuscripts that God has preserved.

No one added the principle to God's Word, and the MSS have been correctlty translated, it's yall's arrogance that denies the evidence, that has been proven countless times.
I must have missed the post where you proved what the original said. The manuscripts have been correctly translated ... at least you are right about that. But the issue is, which manuscripts reflect the original. The mass of evidence points to the fact that the KJV follows manuscripts that added to what Paul wrote.

It amazes me how yall have appointed yourselves as the magistrates over the Word of God and that without ALL the MSS available to the KJB translators, ERROR!!!!
I haven't seen anyone here appoint themselves as magistrates over God's word, with the possible exception of you. You have decided what God's word is, not because God told you, but because your mind was satisfied by the teaching of man. God never told you the KJV was the word of God. You bought that line from a peddler of corruption. We have not only all the manuscripts the KJV translators did, we have more. God has chosen to preserve his word for us and you should accept that.
