The problem is they have identified themselves with the same group that does these things everywhere else.

I try not to judge people simply based on associations. Otherwise I would have to judge all Republicans by everything that comes out of the mouth or Twitter account of Donald Trump.

As a Republican who rejects Donald Trump, I understand that completely. Just because someone is identifying with a broad movement does not mean that they adhere to every boneheaded or obnoxious thing that someone else has said as part of the movement.

Think of it another way... How would you like someone attributing to you some of the more "interesting" ideas that have been promoted here on BaptistBoard?

Except those things are not the overwhelming foundation of the Republican Party. Apples and refrigerators.
