The whole disagreement is over assist in translation word(s) by the translators in translation. Sometimes they are indeed eisegentical. But the translator(s) think(s) otherwise.

Please read Matthew 23:13 and if that does not answer your question, there is nothing I can say. No need to waste effort if all you have is denial and deflection.
Van, it says the Pharisees do not permit them to go in. It NEVER says they do not get in. You are giving way too much power to the Pharisees and you misunderstand the passage.

His very theology is the proof that he misunderstands the scriptures!

Denial and deflection. 1) The men were entering, thus compelled by irresistible grace, or irresistible grace is bogus doctrine, and (2) the were not allowed to enter, thus irresistible grace is bogus doctrine. On the other hand, they had sufficient spiritual ability to be seeking God (entering the kingdom) and therefore total spiritual inability is also bogus doctrine.
