To Mask or Not To Mask

Or was he trying to keep things calm???

Back - 15-20 years ago, I was at the NY State Fair - and the State troopers started going around and informing the outdoor venders, games, rides, food, ect they needed to close down. They never said why, just please close down. Now that everything outdoors was closed down -[ people either started to leave or went inside the buildings.

Well, after everyone got into the buildings - then the extremely fierce storm arrived. Now, if the troopers and been announcing that the storm was coming- there would had been kaos - as there were tens of thousands people in that small area. Sometimes - its best to NOT give all the info.
That was the correct response to a coming natural disaster. What if they had gone outside and told everyone not to worry, we have this under control like Trump did with the Pandemic? The right response to a fierce storm is to take shelter aka lockdown. That was also the correct response to the Pandemic as well as work closely with the CDC and NIH to find science-based ways to prevent it or treat it. "Dr. Trump" ridiculed wearing masks and supported unproven, even dangerous ways to confront Covid like injecting Clorox.

The vaccines saved a lot of lives. It could have been more except for Trump activists who refused to take them and tried to convince others to not take them.
Yeh, all those “Trump activists” like Biden, Kamala Harris, Polosi, and other Dems that publicly stated they wouldn’t trust any vaccine if Trump supported it.

TDS strikes again!!!

peace to you

To me, I almost tend to regard Democrats and Republicans as a divide and conquer mechanism. I know politics is mostly tribal, but on the relatively public issues they tend to stand together. Ex: Ukraine, vaccinations (at least now), and more govt spending. They are near unanimously on the same page for those issues. Otherwise the partisan theatrics are mostly just that - theatrics.

I'm not really a fan of either (just my personal bias) and I don't know what model works better. Suffice it to say on a Federal level they've both been pretty active in stripping rights from U.S. citizens.

Remember, Trump advocated injecting Chlorox and using Hydroxychloroquine and animal medications like Ivermectin, both of which we're proven to be ineffective and often dangerous. I wouldn't trust a vaccine pushed by Trump either.
