I've watched part of it and am torn between crying and being physically sick. Now the President has come on for the State of the Union and I am really sick. This whole administration and those people on Capitol Hill are all really very, very evil. All of them. There...I've finally come out and said it. That is how I really feel. They are all of them evil. To the core. By their fruits we know them. When will Americans and especially Christian Americans wake up? :tear:

Produced with a definite agenda, don't believe all of it. Much of the evil they point out was probably not .

 

All I know is soldiers are serving prison time for what happend at Abu Gharib and to the best of my knowledge, the private contractors were not held accountable or tried, and they keep raking in millions of dollars of profits from government contracts because they have friends in high places in government. Why are private contractors not held to the same level of accountability as our military? I haven't even watched all of the film, but whether or not there is an agenda, even if 50% of it is true, that 50% of truth is still evil. Dismissing the film as having an agenda does not change evil. Evil is evil no matter who promotes it or who exposes it.

 

I don't expect there to be an awakening as it would be without precedence. The Roman citizens did not wake up during their fall nor did the citizens of the German republic. Also, it is curious to note that Gibbon in his Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire mentions how the Romans outsourced the defense of their nation to Barbarian mercenaries. I wonder if CACI and Blackwater and the like are Americas' equivalent to the Barbarians.

 

One look at New Orleans after Katrina should answer that question. In addition to mercenaries there were multinational troops also in attendence. Our own police and miltary were ready, willing and able to disarm law abiding citizens with no complaints from our so called leaders.

 

This Barbarian resents that comparison...
