While liberals have routinely accused Fox News and publications such as The National Review and The Weekly Standard of "deliberately misleading" viewers/readers, there have been no proven allegations, whereas in all the above cases, the networks each admitted their "mistakes."

Sorry, Zaac, but you can't find any such incident in Fox's past. You may not like Fox News, but dishonesty is not an issue with them. In fact, quite the opposite. They tell the truth, and that's what ticks off the liberals more than anything.

Fox News has never ran a dishonest story. Hey, thanks for the laugh.

They don't have to take to lies. They just tell their version of the truth and all those who think the other side is lying adopts their talking points as their own.

To both of you, I repeat my challenge from the earlier post: Find me an actual event in FNC's past that compares to the blatant and outrageous lies told by the liberal media. Go ahead, google it, do research, try any method you like. When you find one, (HA!) let me know.

It's like shooting fish in a barrel. You could start by Googling "Obama trip to India" "$200 million a day" "Fox News". Next you could try "Fox News" and "Obama birth certificate". Or "Hillary Clinton afraid to testify to Senate committee".

Nice try. Won't work. One, FNC did not report that the cost of the trip was $200 million a day, but a total of $200 million, but alas they were wrong. The final cost was actually ab out $212 million. FNC also did not claim Hillary was afraid to testify. So you're trying to make it seem as though they did, when they did not. And those are the kind of blatant lies I'm talking about. Only Fox didn't do any of that, but you certainly did in making that post.

I'm talking about the lies such as the edit of the Zimmerman 9-1-1 tape by the NBC networks, or the "semi-automatics are banned weapons" stated by CNN when they new full well was untrue. Find an actual example of FNC doing such a thing, and I will apologize. Happy searching.

As to Clinton it was widely speculated on Fox that she entered the hospital faking a concussion, because she was afraid to testify to Senate committee.

Also, I see no rebuttal to the birth certificate charge.

See Fox reports stories of what people are doing or saying. And that is the crux of the stories being made ti look like false reporting by Fox. But they will never say that. You know then they would have no issue to distort.

InTheLight ...

I wonder how accurate your name actually is. One, you selectively quoted me, specifically by leaving off the next sentence of that quote. They were wrong because they underestimated the cost of the trip. In other words, it cost more than the pre-trip estimate FNC reported.

Two, you continue to cite commentary as evidence of "lies" when in fact commentary is clearly labeled on FNC (not so clearly on other news networks) and commentary is free to offer speculation. No one said "Hillary faked her concussion." That would be a lie. They speculated. I can speculated you are a 97-year-old drag queen, but if I don't flatly say you are, and I clearly make it known that is my speculation, it would be nothing more than commentary. Other networks do far more of this than FNC, with CNN and ABC being particularly sloppy about making it clear whether they are talking "facts" (a concept that seems to escape them) or "commentary," which to them appears to be a blurring of the lies ... er, lines ... between the two. FNC makes it clear which is which.

And I covered the birth certificate "charge" earlier. Sorry, ITL, you're batting zero right now.

If you say so, it must be true. Interested observers may click on the Examiner link I provided and decide for themselves.

You aren't going to get anywhere arguing with this guy ITL. I believe he's an operative from the democratic underground sent here to make conservatives look like deluded numbskulls.

Or he's the result of a top secret DARPA cloning experiment that combined the DNA of Bill O'Reilly and Barrck Obama. He treats people here the same way O'Reilly treats his guests. He's always right and they're all numbskulls for not recognizing his superior knowledge and intellect.

The Obama side of him plays the race card when people question Israel's policies and motives. "You think Israeli soldiers were being disrepectful for hosting a Rachel Corrie pancake supper? . . . You must be a racist!!!"

According to leaked documents DARPA named it's Obama O'Reilly clone "little Billy O'Reilly Obama" then sent him to Baptist Board under the screen name "thisnumberdisconnected" to disrupt the awakening of people to the false left vs right paradigm.

I'm rolling. This is great. It will never be better put.

But dehumanizing an enemy, I don't fault soldiers for that. It's engrained into them. It happened to me when I went through boot camp. It's distasteful and vulgar, to be sure. But service people (myself included) are sometimes distasteful and vulgar. Look at how they make a living.

I won't take a side on Rachel Corrie, but I will say I feel awful for her parents.

ITL isn't DARPA's clone it's the other guy "thisnumberisdisconnected" he argues the exact same way as O'Reilly and uses the race card just like Obama. He has to be a clone of both to pull it off.

You know, you could have shortened this down to "little Billy O'bama". (see how I moved the apostrophe there? See? See? Oh, you saw. Okay, yeah, I guess I'm being a little too silly; it's VBS week, and I'm dealing with immature pre-teens....)

Now that you mention it Don DARPA could have come up with a better name for their clone. How about Mr. Barry O'Reilly and then just add the last name from one of Obama's past alias?

I believe that would give us at least four last names to choose from. The possibilities are endless!

Whew, I'm glad that's been cleared up!
