Trip to Israel

Greetings,

I am planning a trip to Israel this fall. Has anyone on the BB every been?

I am going with a group of Pastors from what I expect to be various denominations; it is organized for Christian Clergy through a tour company. I've been a little torn about spending the money on the trip but I have had a burden to go for a long time.

Never been myself, but one of my ex-pastors (retired) has been many times and always loved it.

FWIW, this is the only place I would really love to go before either He returns or I die.

I went to Israel a while back. It was very profitable for me as I studied the life of the Lord Jesus. You ought to go. It'll be the trip of a life time. Maybe even prepare you to lead a group from your church.

I believe every Christian should embrace the historic idea of pilgrimage...especially to Israel.

There is so much that is done for our faith on these trips. It is amazing!

I have felt the Lord place them on my heart for some time; the pull is too strong to wait any longer. There are several people in the church I pastor interested in going as well. We may plan another trip after I return with folks from the Church. I'm really looking forward to the added life I think it will bring to my teaching of the Bible.
