Troops march in San Diego gay parade - in uniform

I wonder: did Sodom and Gomorrah have an army? I recall military basic training circa 1964? Such behavior was not tolerated by the rank and file. Such behavior was adjusted by a blanket party--also for those who refused to shower. Some received medical discharges--with no disability entitlements.

The problem got out of hand when we changed the definition of such behaviour from abomination to alternate life style.

Lot and his daughters were forced to flee. The rest of their life was not happy. Remember Lot's wife--she could not turn away.

Even so, come Lord Jesus.

Just more evidence of a military that is on the slippery downward slope. No nation can stand with this kind of government supported immorality.

Wow, I am apalled. I was about to post how those who marched should be punished, as participating in a political rally in uniform is forbidden. However, as I looked at the link, I saw that it was allowed by the DoD.

I have no defense for the military here. I am apalled and sickened by this.

However, I do feel the need to remind others that even though this is the military, it is hypocritical to try and hold them to a higher standard than you do your own employer. And I hope this doesn't turn into a thread about how all good christians need to get out of the military.

The thing is--we have very specific rules about *not* wearing uniforms at such things; but the uppermost echelon has decided that we can suspend the rules in order to show the American public how tolerant and accepting we are?

Not acceptable.

Woody if the Christians are not going to stand in their uniforms and openly stand against the sin and for Christ then yes they need to get out. I understand you say you are sickened by this but this is what happens when we burry our heads in the sand and hide from the truth or make excuses about actions that can only lead to more serious actions. This is just the beginning and mark my word it will be people like this who will take up arms against its own citizens. It is time for those who serve this country to say enough is enough and do so in uniform. The Christian arena of our military needs to stand up and be heard as loudly as those who are promoting evil. Woody there has to come the time when a mother who loves her son has to stop lying to herself and stops telling the judge her son is a good boy if she is going to help her son.

Woody, I understood that all DOD personnel went thur some "training" about the new regulation.

What I'm wondering is what you stated above - could that be construed as "hate speech" and subject to UCMJ.

I believe that Chaplains are exempted, based on religious beliefs -

Hope you can give us the 4-1-1

Just recently , a Marine was disciplined for attending a political function in uniform.

These cretins should be arrested and charged for the same reason.

The only actual training we've had is what is governed by the rules now, such as what is acceptable and when or where. And them being in uniform was supposed to be unacceptable.

As far as what I said, I never attacked the homosexuals. I simply said that I was appalled that this was allowed. For the record, I do not think that they should have repealed the DADT. It is my religious conviction that homosexuality is a sin, and is a choice. I do not hate homosexuals. But I do pray that their hearts would be softened by the Holy Spirit to allow them to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I would replace the word supported with the word mandated.

The military supposedly did a survey of current military personnel, questioning their degree of willingness to accept homosexuals in the military, and announced the willingness for it.. Problem is that no survey was ever done.. (The knew better than to actually do the survey)

Mandated, interesting. That would make it worse. What is so troublesome is that the highest ranking officers say nothing, as least to be heard. Their careers are more important then the moral standards of this nation. They show what and who they love by their inactions.
