Does this not present a serious problem?
I have worked for bosses who are inconsistent in what they say and what they do, and it is detrimental to the ability of their entire management staff to function with respect to their subordinates.
I lived in Oregon for a while, and I have seen the abject insanity of many of their left wing leaders. so this fine and its insignificance appear as no shock to me. Still, I am troubled in that an institution of civil government is saying essentially that it is more or less irrelevant and impotent in the society over which it is supposed to exert stewardship and governance. More than that, you have a situation where the courtroom has been turned into a political straw-man fit for any fool to come along and knock down while still proving just how capricious and contemptful a leader can be.
We have a hard-deck law called the Constitution of the United States, which protects against excessive fines and cruel/unusual punishment, and to assign a teenager the task of paying a fine higher than the lifetime income of 90% of his peers is a clear, direct, flagrant demonstration of contempt for that Constitution and should accordingly be punished with censure.
If a judge hands down verdicts which are clearly antithetical to their duties as magistrates, then they should and must be removed before they can do any more damage to the efficacy, legitimacy and relevance of a system of government established by solemn assemblies bathed in prayer and acknowledging at every turn the sovereignty of God over the affairs of man in general and our nation and its states specifically.
Thus this is a God-appointed system of laws, which has been mishandled and misconstrued by Godless and anti-theistic individuals, ignored by them in their blatantly hypocritical lawmaking practices, abused and misrepresented by charlatains posing as officers of the court (i.e. judges, juries, lawyers, clerks, etc) and rendered moot and powerless by a culture whose demand for non-accountability supercedes all other considerations, be they juristic, governmental, religious, academic, scientific, journalistic or whatever else you may imagine.
We are losing our republic because we do not stand up for it.
