True origin of new mid-west mystery illness....

Fort Sill is in Oklahoma, maybe central Oklahoma? Not sure, but hours from Texas.
In a totally unrelated matter, the news said Oklahoma was bringing in teachers from outside the country to help fill the shortage of teachers.
Totally and they mean SUPER unrelated, the teachers speak Spanish.

So where the kids end up after being placed in shelters remains a mystery. It's probably a safe bet that they don't get placed in the states they get sheltered in. They probably have really secret states wedged between known states, and the kids get sent there. That's why nobody sees them.

Except those that do. It's not that big a secret. Like how this respiratory thing was first identified in CA and the Netherlands. Not Central America.

So, I'm sticking with my assertion that this is not a rare virus, nor is it mysterious. I conclude that the reporters in the article cited in the OP are lazy.

Enteroviruses are very common, especially in the fall and winter months. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates 10 to 15 million infections occur in the United States each year. But this type of enterovirus -- Enterovirus D68 -- appears to be exacerbating breathing problems in children with asthma.

I get it yearly. EVERY stinking winter I fall ill with a bad cold and end up on steroids, inhalers, antibiotics (because, thanks to the asthma that has been triggered, I can't cough out the ick which has now turned into bronchitis) and lots of doctors visits. It's definitely not new at all. Even my husband said "When I heard the symptoms, I thought of you!"

HOMELAND SECURITY REPORT CONFIRMS DISEASES SPREADING AT BORDER FACILITIES

The Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General released a memo on Thursday confirming the problem of communicable diseases that are being spread throughout detention centers.

“Many UAC and family units require treatment for communicable diseases, including respiratory illnesses, tuberculosis, chicken pox, and scabies,” the IG report said.

Sounds like our public schools. I have always called them a public petri dish!

Could this be revenge of the rhino? How about compromised immune systems due to GMO's? Maybe germ warfare?

How about the ravages of sin? This could also be a part of the pestilence predicted in last days.

The Book of Genesis says some folk lived to be over 900 years.

What happened? We have difficulty making 70 without lots of alkaloids.

Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Thanks TCassidy. A friend of mine was there some years ago and I made the mistake of relying on my memory of where she said it was.

Is it mere coincidence that this new, RARE mystery illness happened to come on scene just about the same time all those illegal children from Central America were being sent throughout the mid-west?
:

I think you nailed it but Obama doesn't care about what "We the People" want and so comes the consequences i.e. unexplained illnesses.

Sorry but "respiratory illness" is not a communicable disease.

You couldn't be more wrong. This virus is highly contagious ie."communicable"

Your opinions have , at least, made sense till now.

That was really a dumb statement. It's evident your reading skills are not as good as you think they are.

I suggest you look up the definition of "disease" and compare it to "illness".

Link says respiratory illnesses are contagious, but does not say they are "diseases".

I could be mistaken but I've always thought of a disease as something that is chronic and affects an organ or organs in the body. For example, asthma is a disease of the lung airways. What these children experienced was a viral infection, not a disease.

I fully admit that I don't know for sure if a respiratory illness is a contagious disease, but it seems to me that catching a virus is not the same as having a disease. I'm willing to learn if anybody can show links to some definitions.
