I don't think math was his major. Let's see. 1/3 of the Senate is up for reelection. Let's call it 33 seats. If the Republicans take 3/5 of the state races (that is what President Trump did in 2016) that means, rounded off, the Republicans will take 20 seats and the Democrats will take 13. The Democrats will lose 20 and the Republicans will only lose 13. That's the math, and that is why state elections, and the Electoral College are so important to our electoral system.

A foreign national can apply for asylum at any US Embassy or Consulate (none have done so), or, if they are ALREADY LEGALLY in the US they can request asylum from any State Department officer (none are presently in the US legally).

And, the Electoral College is made up of Electors equal in number to the total number of Representatives plus the number of Senators from that state. That is why smaller states are not overwhelmed by the larger states. All states have two Senators, therefore there is no 1-1 correlation. The smaller states, per capita, have more Electors than the larger states. That is the whole point of the Electoral College.

The only thing that keeps our Republic from being dominated by mob rule is the Electoral College and you want to get rid of it. That does not surprise me.
It does exactly the opposite. It supports the very basic philosophy of our form of Government, "Rule of the majority, rights of the minority." The Electoral College insures that the Majority does not steamroll over the Minority.
That is exactly what we have now that you want to do away with. One man gets one vote. No more. Give a single case where the Electoral College results in one man getting more than one vote.

That is a lie and you know it is a lie. He said no such thing. I live right on the border. The housing for those troops is less than 2 miles from my house. I have talked to some of them and their rules of engagement saying nothing about "shoot to kill." In fact their orders are exactly the opposite. They are never to "shoot to kill." The most they are allowed to do is brandish their firearms in the event of a rock attack, and if forced to shoot to defend their own lives they are only allowed to shoot to stop the attack. No more.
I live in the far, far south of Texas. Right on the US/Mexico border. I see the human misery being caused by the drug cartels and human trafficers who are behind these "caravans." I see the disease and death many of these people suffer. I see the misery such things cause on both sides of the border. I see the bodies of illegal immigrants who have been forced to be drug mules by the cartels, who are financing these attacks on our border. Poor, desperate people forced to swallow condoms full of cocaine or heroin in order to get it across the border. Then the condom bursts in the persons stomach and they died a horrible death from massive overdose.
I minister to these poor people every day. I do all within my power to try to alleviate their horrible suffering. My own 16 year old grandson, who attends the same church as my wife and I do, almost died from Typhus because this part of Texas is the ONLY place in the US where Typhus is still endemic due to the large number of infected illegals coming across the border. And Typhus is not the only deadly disease that is endemic among illegals. Add tuberculosis, AIDS, syphilis, gonorrhoea, leprosy, polio, cholera, diphtheria, and smallpox. These diseases have been all but eradicated in the US but now are on the rise again due to illegal immigration.
Leave your nice safe little house there in Atlanta and come visit me on the border. I will take you for a tour and you can see for yourself, first hand, the misery being caused by the very things you support. The drug mules. The human trafficing. The child molestation. How in the world can anyone call themselves a Christian and support such things?
