Trump’s defense of Russia prompts outrage from some Republicans

' “The president must appreciate that Russia is not our ally,” said Ryan, who is retiring at the end of his term. “There is no moral equivalence between the United States and Russia, which remains hostile to our most basic values and ideals. The United States must be focused on holding Russia accountable and putting an end to its vile attacks on democracy.” ' …

' Some of the most blistering criticism of Trump came from McCain, who has been absent from Congress since December as he undergoes treatment for brain cancer.

In a statement, the Arizona Republican said that Trump “proved not only unable, but unwilling to stand up to Putin” and that the two leaders “seemed to be speaking from the same script” at Monday’s news conference.

“The damage inflicted by President Trump’s naivete, egotism, false equivalence, and sympathy for autocrats is difficult to calculate. But it is clear that the summit in Helsinki was a tragic mistake,” McCain said. He added that “no prior president has ever abased himself more abjectly before a tyrant.” '

Who cares what the globalist RINO, Ryan has to say? Or the thoroughly disgusting John McCain, for that matter?

Funny how they didn't have much to say while Obama was kissing up to the Iranians.

When the DEMS/Rhinos and fake media are all mad at him, he must have done something right!

It is a time for choosing. One can support the United States or one can support Trump. One cannot support both.

Trump should be impeached. He is not fulfilling his oath of office.

Last time I checked, the president was commander in Chief, Chief executive, so he does represent America!
President Obama did much worse in his 2 terms, and yet where were all of the talking heads when he was fiddling, while Rome was burning?

What crime has he committed?

The Founders provided impeachment as a means to remedy a situation where a president turns against the country and refuses to fulfill his oath of office to protect the country. Impeachment is first and foremost a political solution through the members of the house and senate.

Looks to me like he's doing what he ought to do. You weren't so adamant about impeachment when your boy Obama, repeatedly broke the law, illegally signed a treaty with the worlds worst terrorist supporter and sent them billions and billions of $ in cold hard cash to seal the deal. Where were you then?

Yes, but what has he done?

I don't like him cozying up to Russia, they will likely never be our friend and it's naive to think so, but what impeachable crimes has he committed?

The president is to defend the constituion, which obviously includes the form of government the constitution created. Our governmental election suffered the political equivalent of a 9/11 attack in 2016. Trump has refused to confront Putin about this and today went so far as to side with him against the United States government’s executive branch that he is the head of.

A really bad case of TDS. Even Muellers witch hunt and the thoroughly politicized justice department hasn't come to that outlandish conclusion. And they've been looking for over a year.

Mueller’s investigation is nowhere near finished.

As far as charging Trump with anything, it was over before it started.

Only individuals suffering from TDS still believe in the "collusion theory"

No way to know for sure when Mueller’s investigation will be concluded, but I estimate sometime in the first half of 2019.
