So........you joined this board on Sept.11. Coincidence? Don’t presume to denigrate people who are known on this board with your sweeping assessments.

As with Carpro, you're very light on the evidence and very heavy on the self-righteous judgement.

Your opinion of me is of no concern. When you begin the slippery slope of attacking others here, we won’t have to suffer your opinions for long, thankfully. Cheers.

Yep, that and one other of late has come on this board recently with similar agenda's. Be sure it is an agenda. They show up here posting these cockamamy ideologies and make no effort to develop relationships but are nothing but attack dogs for the controllers who sent them. I do not trust them, I have no faith they are here to engage in typical conversation on a Christian discussion board, I do not believe they care to develop relationships. They simply want to get their message out as much as possible.

In the Iraq-Iran war (through the entire Reagan presidency), the US backed Iraq (including providing Iraq with WMDs). The Kurds (ethnic Iranians) fought on the side of Iran and hundreds of of thousands of them were killed by the US-Saddam Hussein alliance. No, the Kurds are not our allies. The Kurds have never been our allies. The US switched sides in 1991, but the Kurds kept on doing, and only doing, what they were already doing, and all for themselves -- fighting legitimate governments in various countries, ala ISIS, to carve out land to control.

You've been busy drinking the toxic Kool-Aid, served at places like the Carpro Cafe, by the neocon dogs of war who want you to think the Kurds are peace-loving Christians who came to our cause, rather than the other way around.

Do you think that the Kurds are Medes?

Do you realize whose behavior you are describing here? Getting their message out as much as possible huh? Agenda you say? Think really hard about what you are saying here.

Speaking for myself, my top agenda is to support the halt of abortion. As you know, that precludes me ever being able to entertain anything from the left. Does that mean I have an agenda?

I don’t recall every single political point of contention on here being about abortion.

Oh, but they are. Sometimes we are speaking about different parts of that leftist body, but it is all from the same body. I reject it, in any or all of it’s parts.

Good for you?

But not for you? You know how it goes, you get cancer in one main organ & pretty soon it spreads to others.....& in fact it already has. Pretty soon you’re left with a rotting corpse that has no chance of redemption.

You seem to be a little...off. Not really making any sense. This is an odd way to turn this thread towards liberals but they seem to be an obsession of yours.

You are the one who derailed the thread. If you find my analogy to be a little off, pay it no mind. It’s better for you & your ‘agenda’ of defending the left. Cheers.

The left that lives rent free in your head. Mitch actually derailed the thread with his self deputizing modding.

Can’t you do better than that? Once again, the left is devoid of an original idea.

I uh am not with the left. But there they are again. An easy scapegoat for your very own lack of originality. The ever present boogeyman ready for you to blame your own failures for. I could do better, but you once again prove why I don’t half to.

Kurds have been betrayed at least 8 times by the US over the last 100 years. There is no strategy other than to eat his own words
Kurds are terrorists. They are just terrorists who are useful to us at times.

That's just as well-informed as someone who claims that "Americans are homosexuals." You are a fool to believe and repeat such a broad-brush condemnation There's a long history of "ethnic cleansing" against Kurds since World War I by Young Turks, then later by Iraq, ISIL/ISIS within the Syrian Civil War, and now Turkish forces this month.

I have some friends here locally who were recently serving as missionaries in Lebanon among Syrian refugees, and they know many Kurds -- in fact, their house church where they worshiped was primarily composed of Kurdish Christians. I spoke to them Wednesday and they were grieving the slaughter, since most of the Kurds they know were from the areas with the most fighting. The families and friends of the people they know, and even some of their fellow church members are likely caught up in the fighting.
