I don't know what your point is because you accused Trump of getting close to Russia but Russia has provided North Korea, a fellow communist state, with missiles. Also, Russia recently gave Cuba thirty billion dollars and docked a spy ship in the Havana Harbor. And Trump says that our last attack on Syria killed a couple of hundred Russian military so you should retract your careless statement about the USA and Russia.

Also, our so-called allies of the UK, Germany, and France, for example, have been playing us for fools with NATO and trade. Germany, especially, has a military with almost no equipment that works and Germany has never paid their fair share of NATO. I think that we should treat Germany as about as much a friend as Turkey is. Merkel does not even bother to hide her hatred of the USA and May is the friend of no one.

As for your concept of military strategy, it was Democrats like you who got us into VietNam and who voted also for Iraq and Afghanistan and it was Democrats like you who wanted those wars lost.

Thanks - I was born 6 months before WW2 began. This is my story, as told by my mother writing reminiscences years later.

Southampton was devastated by Nazi bombing. The nearest bombs demolished houses about 25 yards away. For about 10 years after the war we played in the garden of the "bombed house" & collected water creatures from a pond created by a bomb.

My wife was born in South London. The family moved out of town during the war. Their house was destroyed.

Yesterday, I came across a photo of my Cousin and I on my 64th birthday, standing on the steps of a farmhouse where we were evacuated to in 1939. War was declared on 3rd September 1939 and we were evacuated on the 6th Sept and my cousin celebrated her 6th birthday on Sept 9th in the fields with orange squash and cakes. My sister was born on 7 April 1940 while we were there, but I think we returned to London soon after that as there were only photos of my sister a baby. Anyway we were back in London in time for the blitz.
I can remember seeing bunk beds on the tube stations which people used as air raid shelters. Both my Grand Mothers (and one of my grandfathers, the other was killed in WW1) were bombed out of their apartments.

We regularly saw V1 flying bombs passing over and a V2 rocket destroyed some houses about two or three hundred yards from us, about 2 am one morning. That was the loudest bang I ever heard.

Well Poland an the Czech Republic. Poland was almost squeezed out of existence so they will weigh in on Americans side. I don’t know about Trumps side... I think they are just waiting for him to Peter out.
