"Let's say there is two Planned Parenthoods in a way. You have it as an abortion clinic. Now that's actually a fairly small part of what they do, but it's a brutal part and I'm totally against it and I wouldn't do that," Trump told Hannity. "They also however service women."

"We have to help women," he continued. "We have to look at the positives, also, for Planned Parenthood."

Hannity then asked if the government should provide any funds to groups that perform abortions, even if government money does not directly fund those procedures.

"Maybe unless they stop with the abortions, we don’t do the funding for the stuff that we want," Trump said in response. "There are many ways you can do that, because I'm totally against the abortion aspect at Planned Parenthood, but I've had many women, I've had many Republican conservative women come up and say Planned Parenthood serves a good function other than that one aspect."

During his interview with CNN earlier in the day, Trump also expressed support for exceptions to bans on abortion in cases of rape and incest, as well as in cases that would save the life of the mother.

Trump: "Except for that part about murder, Planned Parenthood is a really great organization."

There are many other places and organizations that provide the same services as PP outside of abortion. So the question is why is defunding PP such a third rail issue for liberals?

Apparently it is all about abortions.

Unless Republicans who are against abortion are planning to not support all the other companies that are contributing to PP and allowing them to finance abortions, then Trump's position (to support the non-abortion services offered) makes sense.

It's that old PP propaganda that only 3% of all services done by them are abortions - it's a misleading, deceptive statistic and yeah, if that was so true, what's their problem with stopping all abortion services? They make a mint on abortion and are the biggest abortion providers in the country.

Trump is right on this. PP does do other things and those other things should be the only services they provide. But this is talk. Trump is baiting the religious and they will rally. It's funny to watch religious people wag their tail after a politico whistles, and then place a loyal paw on their favorite biscuit. And that worthless political talk has been going on since 1973. If you were ever going to stop abortion, you would of by now. Shut up, stop your excuses sheep. It doesn't work. That is the problem with well-meaning religious folk. The only arm is politics and it's failed for 42 years (I used a calculator). When you decide to use spiritual weapons instead of carnal ones, you might get it done. You say you pray along with your politics for a sweet mix, but are there ever results? No. You cannot pray in the Spirit a carnal prayer to defeat a spiritual enemy. It only goes a few feet off the pulpit, hovers there for all to see, then drops as soon as the choir fires back up. Maybe next cycle huh? Eat Trumps bait. Eat Cruz's bait. Neither will do a thing to stop abortion. You will settle for the next best thing and say Hallelujah were are closer!
