If it's a non-story, then why is it being covered? The Orange One didn't have to use his precious helicopter to get there: none of the others did
Haters gotta hate. That's really all there is to it.
It would make more sense for Trump to ask why the French sent American troops to take Belleau Wood and then refused them artillery support, resulting in almost 2000 American deaths and a casualty rate of almost 55% for the Marines involved. I don't believe they have ever answered that question.

So you are an expert on Secret Service protocol in the no-go zone of France? Why do you even care what Trump does? Merkel probably didn't want him there at the phony railway car anyway. It would be one thing if you knew something other than what Jeff Bezos said or some of your Tories, whom you don't support, but until we hear Trump's side of the story, he should be given the benefit of the doubt. Melania has been sick. Maybe there was not a backup plan as everyone says that there was but no one knows for sure. Maybe Trump was just tired from working so hard at his age.
I can't imagine Ronald Reagan pleading his age as an excuse, can you? But if you feel that Trump is too old to discharge the burdens and responsibilities of the Office of President, then there is a mechanism laid down in your Constitution for that circumstance I believe...
Now Pelosi is a #NeverTrumper and she will entertain a bill of impeachment but she can't do that if she resigns, can she?
And of course I care about what your President does...as the leader of the world's superpower, why wouldn't I? Particularly when incidents such as this play into our enemies' hands (eg: Putin. Can you imagine him crying off a visit to commemorate their fallen because of a bit of rain?)
Oh, don't worry, the Dems will impeach him shortly. Trump was on the campaign trail more than any other President ever. He went to France and the French said that they wanted to launch an attack against the USA. Some hosts. The city of Paris is a no-go zone as filthy as San Francisco. You have no idea what was going on so why don't you wait and see.
Are you going to make a meal of it. If the US helicopter could not fly in that hostile zone when all of the European leaders dislike Trump, then that is the truth. And we don't know for sure that he had a secure motorcade with the French threatening the USA, as they did.

The Dems will impeach Trump soon, so stop worrying. We are broke so Europe can fund their own defense against Russia, China, and Iran.
Americans don't go to Paris like they once did. Same for London.
