Trump Gets Flustered When Confronted On His Death Penalty Proposal

My point is given his last interview it is impossible for Trump to prove his competency.

I'm not saying he is experiencing a mental decline. I'm saying neither Trump or Biden are competent for the office. They need to enjoy their "golden years" and leave the nation to others.
Just because a person can flub an answer does not make them incompetent. His proposal was to include the death penalty for drug dealers that are shown to have caused the death of specific individuals. This was from 2018. He did not extemporaneously recall that detail. There are no Presidents back to LBJ that have not flubbed a question. To claim a flub disqualifies a person is nonsense.

Mr. Biden's flubs, "God save the Queen, Man" are non-stop and many are "unforced errors."

The issue is Trump, not his gaffs. Neither Trump or Biden are competent for the office. There is nothing you can post to change my mind, and I'm not trying to change your mind.

I do like Trump's platform.

So the platform is sound but the man isn’t?!? OK, got it. Then who are the possibilities for the next election.. who is good for the nation?

DT did not seem “frustrated” by Bair’s question. He didn’t see the connection at first and tried to side step the significance, but didn’t seem frustrated.

If frustrated, he would have pointed out that Bair, during election coverage 2020 apologized (hot mic) to a dem politician for pointing out Stacy Abrams would have still lost Georgia in 2018 even if every vote rejected because of ballot problems had gone to her.

Why apologize for telling the truth? The Dem, btw, said she still believed Abrams win the election except for the “voter suppression”.

I really don’t respect Bair at all because of that incident.

peace to you

You can claim Mr. Trump is not competent for the office, but that does not move the ball.

I simply pointed out that your claim his flub proves he is not competent for office is nonsense. I am not trying to change your mind, I am trying to set the record straight.

I agree the ball has not moved.

Not in your court, but there are other courts. :)

Flub? I'm talking about his whole interview.

No, you were not. Mr. Trump excels in answering unrehearsed questions from the media.
Yes, I was. Trump does not do well in answering questions on the interview. He always goes to the same old points.

He gave us the best economy we've seen (not actually ture, but a point he brings up).

He closed international travel to protect us against covid.

He gave us three covid vaccines.

In truth, there were many gains under the Trump administration. But he doesn't talk about many.

And when he does, he acts as as if he did them himself. A lot of his accomplishments were accomplishments of people he placed in positions only to turn on them later.

Trump had several blunders. The discussion of his staff choices was another funny one.

In my lifetime, I think we have had several good presidents and several bad.

FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, JFK, Reagan, and Trump are the good ones,
LBJ, Nixon, Carter, the Bushes, Clinton, Obama, and Biden are the not well regarded.

Now it seems some are engaged in a rewrite of history, providing aid and comfort to the Democrats.
