Will Trump's rating go up or down?

President Donald Trump's first job-approval rating is in, and they are the lowest an incoming president has ever received.

Only 45% of Americans approve of Trump's job performance over the first three days of his presidency, according to a Gallup survey released Monday. It's the first time a president has received an initial approval rating under 50% in the history of the poll, which dates back to Dwight Eisenhower's first term in 1953.

Another 45% of Americans disapproved of Trump's performance — also the highest initial rating in the poll's history. The last 10% had not yet formed an opinion.

It will depend on how the questions are phrased and who they ask. After all the uproar from the media over his inauguration speech, turns out a majority of the American people liked it, so, hard as the media may try to paint him as an evil villain, they rarely have the same view as the people as a whole.

Please. This is a poppycock poll.

Why?

Within nine months of assuming office, Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Eight years later, we're still asking: What?!?

I don't know, personally I want to see them go up.

Don't we all .. perhaps for different reasons, but we all want them to go up.

I don't care where his approval ratings goes so long as he does the right things. He could very well do things I approve of and his rating go down.

If he appoints a conservative SCOTUS that's pro-life, approval rating will likely go down as press unrelentlessly hammers him.

If he cuts corporate tax rates, approval rating will likely go down.

If he removes the estate tax, approval rating will go down.

As I recall, Lincoln had a much higher disapproval rating. Immediately after his election, senators and congressmen walked out from the Capitol with no intent to return, and a good number of states showed themselves quite unwilling to accept the results of the election.....

Of course, they'll go up. Then down. Then up. Then down. On and on...Just like every president.

They've already gone up, but I'd guess that they will continue to climb.

Until his numbers increase.

Whether his numbers are good or bad there's a built in bias against him, especially if there is no election coming up to keep the pollsters honest. Trump showing decent numbers likely means he's kill'n it.

Yeah, there's a bias against him because he's a hostile pathological liar who constantly bashes the press for pointing out real facts.

The press hasn't been perfect, but Trump can't legitimately complain about being treated unfairly when he's called out on a lie.

The magnetic poles have been reversed and the right is in power now and the left in decline.

IT WILL CHANGE in time.

It is a necessary thing to pull the nation back to the right when we veer to the left and vice versa.

Nothing has changed but the polarity.

Advice FWIW - Trump supporters, please, please try to understand the feelings of the non-Trump people.
Remember you were there for 8 years. How did it feel?

Non-Trumpets advise FWIW - Pray for the POTUS, with God all things are possible.
