Respectfully, do you REALLY want children housed with adults awaiting deportation? Remember some of those adults are hard working people who were arrested for being in the US illegally, while others are dangerous criminals and members of Drug Gangs also here illegally and awaiting deportation.

I do not think that the intent of separating parents and children is intended to be draconian. I believe it follows the same logis as having adult prisons separate from juvenile detention centers.

Yes I do! At least they would not go missing from the parents which is what you have happening now. Anyway, why would you put parents in maximum security prison for the crime of wanting a better life for their family? I’d think about that long and hard before approaching that course of action.

When I was young we used to have this kid in the neighborhood that was real easy to offend and would run down the street several times a day, 4 houses down, screaming the whole way. Of course we used to do it on purpose just to see his reaction, we called him the "fire engine".
