According to President Trump much of the wall is already built and Mexico is paying for it via the new trade deal. I guess we should quit belly-aching about the Wall. It's mostly built and paid for by Mexico. Who knew?

Maybe if the Republicans and Democrats knew this they wouldn't have shut down the government. I guess we can chalk up the mess to poor communication. Who knew twitter wasn't an effictive method of intergovernmental communication....they should have stuck with facebook.

Not at all. You can chalk it up to one simple fact.
Democrats hate Trump and they couldn't care less if the country suffers because of it. Their only motive is to say no to everything he wants to do.
Trump should have said "Money? We don't need your stinking money. Mexico is already paying for the wall"....or something like that.

Trump is declaring that the Wall is mostly built and with money from Mexico. That's a gross exaggeration of the truth (even for him.)
In reality, there has been $1.5 billion appropriated for repairs and augmentation to current portions of the Wall. The funding was secured after Democrats put language in the bill prohibiting any new construction of the wall. Also, there have been small prototype sections of new wall designs built. That is the extent of the building of the Wall. And Mexico hasn't paid one cent.

The problem is that there is no one calculating the money that the drug/slavery cartels have had to relinquish due to the POTUS border actions nor will there be seeing the marxist press suppression of Real News.

Dems don't want the wall because from my understanding is in the sanctuary states the illegals are allowed to vote. This is illegal and should never be allowed. And of course they vote democrat. That is my understanding of why the dems don't want a wall. They could loose some votes by the illegals. Now rather I have heard this correctly or not, I don't know. I really do hope I am wrong on this.
