Not at all surprised it's Cavanaugh. I am concerned that he's a perfect replacement for Kennedy but it's not the GWB connection that bothers me - after all, can't see Clinton or Obama ever appointing someone like this.
It's more that the left and/or the neverTrumpers are so accommodating - there's really nothing they can do here, anyways, but that fact usually doesn't stop them. Cav looks solid as can be on my biggest issue, 2A, and not that bad on immigration and abortion. I think Trump is saving that woman with all those kids for Ruth when she steps down.
