Certain men and women actually are sick, not just unsaved. Jesus addressed both issues and He still does.
Sorry, there is no Biblical or historical evidence that the power to heal and cast out demons ceased at the closing of the canon. There is also no scriptural support for the idea that healing and casting out demons was given by the Holy Spirit only to authenticate the office of Jesus and His apostles.
This is theological nonsense perpetrated by pastors and teachers who preach a gospel that is creeds and moral philosophy, deprived of any supernatural power. They lack the spirituality to pray the prayer of faith.
Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
2 Timothy 3:5
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
James 5
14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.
15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.

Sickness, infirmity, and demon possession have continued through the centuries. Why would deliverance ministry exist for just a few years and be unavailable now?
Besides the evidence in Scripture I'm pointing to? I suggest studying not only the prophecy that led to the Messiah to authenticate the office of Christ but also the very meaning of signs and wonders and why? Granted, Pharaoh's magicians could imitate some wonders and miracles. There's a difference between miracle healing and the Logos and being the instrumental and ordinary means G-d interacts in humanity and the World today here upon the earth. For example, it is a biblical action to pray for physicians to receive wisdom from G-d and the ability to "heal" our physical illness. This is a fulfillment since Genesis, to go forth and multiply and to subdue the earth. To subdue the earth includes healing from illness: sickness or disease, even in modern application like curing pollution, etc.
In the context of what you shared,
@Ascetic X sickness is an infliction of the conscience, consider all those PTSD people today - those conscientious objectors made after military service etc. What Jesus said still to this day stands, we can forgive sins, BUT keep that in context!
I am a Cessationist, somebody that believes miracles, that is, signs and wonders were only given for a time to authenticate the office of Messiah and Apostle, that is, for those that can or could author the Scriptures for a time to build up the church, that is, the foundation, the foundation of the church is Scripture. That foundation of the building has been completed, I do not believe in the office of Apostle today.
I am also Reformed Protestant that believes in Sola Scriptura. I reject the Roman Catholic emphasis that their church is the sole interpreter, or that the offices of Pastor, Teacher etc are Apostles, that is, they cannot lawfully add or subtract from Scripture, the offices today are only for illumination. I reject that what they say is as authoritative as Scripture, whether by councils etc, the premise for any rationale or logic is Scripture, the Word of G-d.
I find Continuists are people that doubt and leave the door open for what "they want to believe" rather than what Scripture states. What's next, opening the door for every charismatic and/or Pentecostal? No more revelation! Only illumination!
Not goading you,
@Ascetic X! This is illumination according to CBN and TBN, the public face of Christianity. Look at all those new Christian converts that tune in on any given Sunday! Even Billy Graham, the evangelist (horrible theology), would be proud! Their forces are spiritually evil and dark and appeal to the satisfaction of the flesh. Even the devils believe G-d exists; what is "spiritual"?
