So I have watched the video again and re-read the transcript of Trump's speech. There is literally nothing wrong with it. Not even a hint.

He did not encourage violence, in face he said the opposite. And in absolutely no way did he incite the riot.

Liberals are off their rockers!

They would have stated Jesus Himself was a hate monger!

I quoted you! It fits what you say in the OP, as you cannot accept the fact that the language of Trump after he lost the election to "sleepy Joe", that his behaviour and language promoted the violence that took place last week. No level headed person would deny this!

Exactly so, and DOJ will not charge him with any crime, they already said that.

I agree that Trump did not say anything wrong in his speech. He did not necessarily tell the truth, but freedom of speech does not mean someone only tells the truth.

Where Trump bears responsibility is misleading people into believing that Pence could stop the counting of the electoral certificates or that Congress could refuse to accept those certificates. His failure was not one of words but of leadership.

I wanted him to do it, I really did. Not that it would have worked, I dont know about that, yes or no.
Nothing could have been more interesting about this election than seeing that happen at the end.

Pence could have stopped it. And the "riot" was instigated by Antifa.
Nothing to lose and everything to gain. if Pence had been Trump, he would have done it.
Political career of Pence was over when he did what he did, no more elections for him to office.

ORIGINAL SIN: Mike Pence Wanted To Backstab Trump, Become Republican Nominee In 2016
You all should look at this. How Priebus and Pence were going to toss Trump in 2016 and replace Trump with Pence as the nominee.
It may make you realize some of what happened back then, that Pence is not as pure as you might think. And if that had happened, Clinton would have been elected.

Mike Pence, Reince Priebus, and the Republican Party establishment were dead set on removing Trump from the ticket.

My understanding is that Congress CAN refuse to accept the EC vote.
Now the chances are that happening are slim because:
1) House has a D majority - so them not accepting would be slimmer to not even.
2) there was no verifiable proof.

What was happening - was that the R were going to put out their point of view - at a minimum - it would become part of the Congressional record.

My other thought - if the D's "knew" there was no fraud - then why should be be afraid of letting the R saying their peace. Let them have their say - and it would soon be over.

Were those who charged and damaged the building - should they be make to pay - of course.

Trump encourage the protesters to march - just as millions have done in the past, which was totally legal. But this time radicals were involved and..........

It makes me sad that weak leaders with bad ideas and thoughts about America get elected....who are just globalists and looking out for that globalist agenda, instead of Americans and what made this country so strong.
