If the value of cash drops, and it may, that means the value of what cash can buy goes higher, includes houses, stocks, business investments, your dollar just does not go as far. Fixed investment accounts, the interest earned drops even lower maybe. The stagflation of the 70's caused houses to go up a lot, but we also had much higher interest rates then and also price inflation caused the value of dollars to depreciate, who knows what will happen. With the countries massive debt levels, it can not afford an inflationary spiral.
It definitely cant afford inflation in a stagnant economy.

Fine. But he never says, "we're going back to work after 15 days". That is the title of your thread and it is wrong.

The only concrete thing Trump said regarding a time frame in this new article you listed is, "I’m not looking at months."
Are you picking the fly droppings out of the pepper, Brother Light? Give Brother Downey a break, would you?

Cuomo admits a complete NY lockdown may have made more people die. He appears to be considering opening up some business where the employees are young and or recovered. Makes sense, the lockdown forced young and old cooped up together. They really should have tried to protect the vulnerable by locking them down as a priority seeing they are at the highest risk.
Cuomo: Not sure if closing all businesses, keeping everyone home was 'the best public health strategy'

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Thursday that his stay-at-home order for the entirety of New York State was “probably not the best public health strategy.”

In a press conference in Albany, Cuomo said the smartest way forward would be a public health strategy that complemented a “get-back-to-work strategy.”

Like I said, they can not keep the healthy and low risk people from going back to work for long and they all know that, at least the pragmatic non extremist politicians do. If your recovered and there will be 10's of thousands recovered soon, and that number will just grow and grow, they need to go back to a semblance of life again as they are immune and can not spread the virus. If there was no immunity, then most everyone would die, so you know there is an immunity and indications are they expect cases to now wind down this summer. They may pick up again in the winter, so they are admitting to a seasonality now just like all colds and flu have.
