"...To be fair, Hillary Clinton has also raised the specter of online censorship to deal with terrorist coordination over the Internet.

“We’re going to need help from Facebook and from YouTube and from Twitter,” the former secretary of state said during an interview on ABC’s This Week. “They cannot permit the recruitment and the actual direction of attacks or the celebration of violence by the sophisticated Internet user.”..."

The GOP front runner ladies and gentlemen.

....and you may be surprised at how much slack the electorate gives this guy in hopes of something different. So far none of his 'gaffes' have changed his position in the polls.

Excellent find, UoT. Can you find another one for Wednesday?

Trump can't be this stupid, can he? No one can "shut off the Internet". Besides, real terrorists don't use Facebook and Twitter, they use the Dark Internet. Or they meet up as avatars in RPGs.

The scary thing is there are people that would accept shutting down the Internet if they thought it could thwart terrorism.

After the next terrorist attack, and there will be one, Trump will say something even more outrageous as a way to combat it and his sycophants will be willing to try it.

He lost 11 points since he floated the idea of barring Muslims from entering the country.

Jesus said a good tree produces good fruit. The muzzlim tree does not produce good fruit. What did Jesus say should be done with such a tree? Cut it down and throw it into the fire.

It shouldn't be hard to find something for Wednesday. He's the gift that keeps on giving.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

It's a liberal website, and obviously a liberal writer; but....

...Unless by "good fruit" you meant that by being muslim, they reject Christ and therefore are not good fruit, in which case I totally agree with you.

Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump has an idea for stopping ISIS from communicating online. He wants to close the Internet.

"We're losing a lot of people because of the Internet," Trump said Monday at a campaign rally in South Carolina.

"We have to go see Bill Gates and a lot of different people that really understand what's happening. We have to talk to them about, maybe in certain areas, closing that Internet up in some way."

Trump continued, "Somebody will say, 'Oh, freedom of speech, freedom of speech.' These are foolish people."

He needs to take his advice and go see "a lot of different people that really understand what's happening", because he has NO CLUE how the Internet works. He wants to call other people foolish? He looks like a complete fool himself.

Starting to come around that he's a Hillary plant. After Trump fails to gain traction in the primaries he will run as an independent, thus ensuring a Hillary victory.

Either that or Trump is the biggest political troll in history.

Yeah, I'm actually starting to entertain the Democratic plant theory at this point and I hate myself for doing that.

LOL, I can see his handlers saying, "whoah, whoah, let's not overdo it Donald."

....kinda quick poll results don't you think? I'll give it a few days first. (I'm NOT a Trump fan)

Heard it on one of the XM Satellite news stations

Donald Trump Polls: Trump’s Support Actually Grows After Controversial Call To Ban Muslims From Entering United States

"Donald Trump is still atop polls for the Republican nomination, growing his lead lead over opponents even after a string of controversial statements and a call to ban all Muslims from entering the United States....."

...wonder where 'XM Satellite news' gets their news?

"Donald Trump is still atop polls for the Republican nomination, growing his lead lead over opponents even after a string of controversial statements and a call to ban all Muslims from entering the United States....."

...wonder where 'XM Satellite news' gets their news?

Facts about the poll:
Interviews with 954 adults in New Hampshire conducted byland line and cellular telephone on November 30-December 7, 2015 including 402 who say they plan to vote in the Republican presidential primary.

http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2015/images/12/08/relnh3.-.republicans.pdf

Trump made his statement about banning Muslims from entering the country on Monday night, December 7th at a rally in South Carolina. The poll was taken Nov. 30 through Dec 7, so the poll DID NOT include people that knew about the proposed ban.
