Agreed. I should hate to be in one of those countries with nationalized or socialized healthcare because their governments are going to ration care to the most politically favored. Canada cannot handle emergency catastrophic illnesses anyway so those with money come to America for instant care.

Trump and his surrogates can try to keep lying about it, but it’s much easier to trick people into thinking that positive economic indicators during Obama’s presidency were fake, that Trump’s margin of victory against Hillary Clinton in 2016 was larger than it was, or even that the crowd at his inauguration was bigger than Obama’s.

If Trump had outright said COVID-19 is a pandemic, or would be, rather than allowing health officials to announce this after it progressed, we would never hear the end of it.

I watched as the free world heralded the fall of the Berlin Wall as the "fall of Communism," and wondered how people could be so stupid. But of course we showed we were far stupider by empowering the Chinese Communists with our own economic success.

Except that Canada is still taking refugees off our hands. Illegals in New York can go to the Buffalo area where there is a road that leads across the border. It is called Roxham Road. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police actually see that the illegals are taken to shelters. I guess that they want Canadian welfare and they are given a Canadian gold card that promises them 20 years of total health care, better than the Canadian citizens have.
