What!? I came here to see what people were saying and not one thread on the win? Am I the only one that stayed up to see if there would be results and now can't sleep?

And how about the team and experience that is coming with him this time?!

I truly believe we have a Golden Age coming and we have witnessed a great day in history!

SO, what are you looking forward to?

No, you are not the only one who stayed up until after his winner's speech. Yes, I voted for him, but ONLY after serious and heartbreaking thought and ONLY to keep Harris out. Not one fiber in my being wants him back in office.

Not all of us are convinced that Trump is president because God is rewarding us because we are so "good" and really don't sin much and that we deserve all this goodness. And that's all I'm seeing on Facebook this morning. People have lost their minds.

Yes, our gas prices may go down and groceries may go down. But what is going to happen to us spiritually speaking with that man at the helm?

What am I looking forward to? First of all, for the church who claims holiness and righteousness to truly behave that way. And yes, I include myself. Second, for the lost to be saved.

I'm happy that you are happy. But I can't be chipper.

He's a one term POTUS, a perfect opportunity to tackle such things as fixing SS and getting spending under control.

Once again the pollsters had it way off. He barely won the electoral college in 2016 after they predicted a massive win for Hilary. This time around he won states by much larger numbers. He also won the popular vote which was a surprise. I’ve seen reports that the Amish went out to vote which was unexpected as well.

Why are you suprised… the American people know what they are getting. At least Trump explained himself… Harris, with her vast generalizations did not paint solid pictures of what she would … causing most to conclude she would carry forward the Biden (really the Obama) socialist agenda. Better to endorse the crook you already know rather than the crook you don’t.

me I’m hoping for a real conservative to eventually enter the arena… like Ron DeSantis.

The Romans have a long held saying, I believe coined by Cicero… politicians are not born, they are excreted.

Sister, keep yourself and above the Frey and pray for God’s intervention in all this. Trusting in any politician is foolish.

I was praying all evening and honestly, baby Christians that haven't come to understand grace over "reward" isn't a surprise to me, however I consider this happening a great blessing upon our country and am thankful for it. ...But, I understand that alpha male thing is probably hard for you to get past. :Biggrin

That man has stood up for religious rights more than any other I know. I believe he has grown in his faith and has a good heart which is what we need for our country.

I'm considering how much Trump has learned in the time between presidencies, how great of a team he will put together this time and wonder if the last 4 years of misery was God's plan to better prepare Trump and the people for the great times to come.

Really, you are delusional.

Well, I just hope you know that such a typical leftist style Ad hominem fallacy response is meaningless to me and not worthy of a reply, but I decided to reply anyway just to acknowledge I've noticed your presence. :Smile

I wish you could understand how much his being a man plays no part in my struggle with supporting him. I'm not troubled by his being a man.

I struggle to the point ot headaches and not sleeping/eating well from having this KIND of man leading me.

And yes, I did vote for him.

Benjamin, you have to be saved FIRST before you can grow as a Chrisian. I'm not God and I have no right to judge whether or not he is truly saved or not. But as my wonderful and Godly father taught me, we can only speak to the evidence of someone's spiritual status by how they live their lives.

This summer, being interviewed by Laura Ingrahm, she asked if he believed in heaven. He said, "Oh yes! And if I'm good, I'm going to go there. And I'm bad, I'm going to the other place." Does that sound like someone who is in a relationship with Christ?

He is on my prayer list and HAS been to be savedl I want him and his whole family to be saved.

In 2016, and yes that was 8 years ago, he was asked [and I've watched all of these videos] - if he ever asks God for forgiveness. He said "No. If I do something bad, I try to do good things to make up for it. That's kind of like asking for forgiveness."

This summer he spoke of Harris and Hilary Clinton and how "blowjobs" affected them differently. A couple of weeks ago, he spoke in Arnold Palmer's hometown of how "well-endowed" Palmer was and how men in locker rooms with him came out always in awe and talking to each other about it.

I don't think any Christian man that I know would talk that way in public while trying to get people's votes for POTUS.

I have ZERO issue with him being a man. I have a huge issue with him being that kind of a man.

Honestly, I’m not concerned what you think. Alpha male indeed…. What a joke. A cheat yes, a liar yes, a crook yes, a misogynist yes, a narcissistic jerk yes…. But under no condition do not misconstrue Trump as a strong man leader nor think that he is a competent leader because he is not!

Not for one nanosecond do I consider this KIND of man, or any other man, as leading me. And neither should any Christian. Your problems are self-imposed.

John 10:27-28.
27) MY sheep hear MY voice, and I know them, and they FOLLOW ME:
28) And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall NEVER perish, neither shall ANY MAN pluck them out of MY HAND.

2 Timothy 1:7
7) For God hath NOT given us the SPIRIT of fear; but of POWER, and of LOVE, and of a SOUND MIND.

Daniel 2:19-22
19) Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.
20) Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are HIS:
21) And HE changeth the times and the seasons: HE Removeth kings, and Setteth up kings: HE giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:
22) HE revealeth the deep and secret things: HE knoweth what is in the darkness, and light dwelleth with Him.

MY King is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. MY King IS Sovereign. My King LEADS His sheep.

Countries have leaders and I fail to see a valid argument for such to be mutually exclusive with being a Christian.

Did he consider that as part of his agenda in his first term as President?

Good grief, give it/him a break, you’ve made it clear to all of us in the past how much you hate the man. IMO, you wouldn’t have anything good to say about him if he come up with a cure for cancer.

I agree with some of that but think you're contradicting yourself saying you can't judge his salvation but then speak of fruit inspection.
This summer, being interviewed by Laura Ingrahm, she asked if he believed in heaven. He said, "Oh yes! And if I'm good, I'm going to go there. And I'm bad, I'm going to the other place." Does that sound like someone who is in a relationship with Christ?
He has said he is not a very good theologian and I have heard him confess his faith many times. I consider heart knowledge as well as head knowledge. Like I've said, I think he's grown in his faith.

He is on my prayer list and HAS been to be savedl I want him and his whole family to be saved.
However. your pray for his salvation does not confirm your judgement that he is not.

I also wish he would clean it up, however, he has been at war against evil and has had to answer and deal with a lot of ugly attacks along the way which draws him into such talk. He is not perfect, but being tough enough to win this fight was necessary and God appears to be using him to do much good.

I don't think any Christian man that I know would talk that way in public while trying to get people's votes for POTUS.

I guess you are entitled to have your opinion and draw the line one must not cross to be saved but I don't find it much different than than Trump's comment about being good enough. I do wish he understood free grace better.
