They do seem to make good Judges.

One possible explanation is that Catholicism is as much a cultural ethnic group as it is a religion, so comprises a much larger pool of candidates. Protestantism/evangelicalism is not big tent oriented (at least is shouldn't be). They're much easier to target.

And it's a little concerning the Gorsuch is Episcopalian. I'd actually be more comfortable if he remained RC.

It may be that they were appointed by Republicans because Catholics are typically strongly against abortion. So appoint those who are biased the direction you want things to go.

Old School Catholic Judges are highly trained and have very good education in originalism!
