Two TV Army Dramas

Two of my favorite military Dramas are Combat! and Tour of Duty
Currently those two shows are airing on the Heroes channel (this link lists local TV stations that carry it)
In addition, Black Sheep, 12 O'clock High, and Rat Patrol a Sat evening as well.

These shows air on Sat pm at 2200Z

So what are your thoughts about these shows?
Do you find them to be realistic?
Do minor thing in a military TV show bug you (ie Klinger has hair over his ears - "over AND out, ect)

Would you like to see any of these shows come back as a re-boot?

BTW - if you forgot - 2200Z = 1800 hrs EDT / 1500 hrs PDT
(make allowance for going back to Standard time in Nov)

I enjoy some of those old military action TV programs. They are realistic enough to keep me entertained. Uniform violations on these shows are irritating, as well as firing 100 rounds from a 20-round magazine. My wife just tells me to stop griping and enjoy the show, so I just salute and say "Yes, Ma'am".

Considering how TV show reboots are often very disappointing, so I prefer just sticking with the original classics.

Over and out is INCORRECT!

Over means "I want a response"
Out means - I am finished with this conversation"

Well if you are going to complain why they didn't do this or didn't do that... Go to the War Channel and see the real thing... I played with green army men too... How many of you have been in REAL COMBAT?... My hand is raised!... Brother Glen:)

1) I do not get the War Channel
2) Had orders to go VietNam - but did not go
The closes I got to combat - was pulling Guard Duty when the Baader–Meinhof
gang was on the loose in the 70's
