Even the term "Mother Earth" is a reference to idolatry...

It comes from pantheism...

That is why I refuse to allow my children to participate in Earth day activities at school...

I went to an Earth Day celebration a few yrs ago, when my oldest was in 3rd grade, and the teachers were reading poems praising Mother Earth, and Mother Nature....

Nothing praising God.

See how twisted the environmentalists have become?

Worshipping the created, instead of the creator.

God is in control...
Not humans.

Sorry if that bursts your geo centered belief system.. but it is what the Bible teaches...
And what a Christian believes.

Pass the A-1!

Eat a steak... save the planet!
I'll bring the A 1 if your supplying the steaks.
Really, want to save the planet eat more beef, and save the earth from the emissions that cause 'climate change'. Just make sure that cow we're eating isn't great aunt Sally.

Beat the heat — eat less meat.

That's the message being sent by the head of the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which won last year's Nobel Peace Prize along with Al Gore.

"Give up meat for one day [a week] initially, and decrease it from there," Dr. Rajendra Pachauri told Britain's Observer newspaper in comments published Sunday.

More Here

I thought I remember some liberals saying that because there are so many cows and they fart alot we are having global warming. If we eat less meat, there will be more cows, hence more cows farting and more global warming.

Edit: Yep, here it is http://www.greendaily.com/2008/07/18/bovine-flatulence-contributes-to-global-warming-aka-cow-farts/

Edit 2: My wife says I fart more than cows.

Wasn't Padre supposed to grill some steaks a while back?

Hmmmm....

Well, I did my part to eliminate cow gas in the world today...
I ate a 1/2 pound sirloin steak at Ponderosa for lunch today...

But because I ate a salad.. I am all gassed up and ready to blow!

OH well...
