U2 expresses support for campaign to repeal Ireland's abortion ban

Irish rock group has come out in support of the campaign to repeal Ireland's Eighth Amendment, which guarantees the right to life for the unborn. In a tweet posted on Tuesday, the group encouraged Irish voters to participate in the referendum that is set to take place on May 25th. The social media post included a heart-shaped graphic that read "Repeal the 8th."

U2 has a number of Christian 'fans'. The band's devotees are assembling in Belfast this summer for the third 'U2 Con'. The conference's founder and director is Professor Scott Calhoun of Cedarville University:

U2 and front man Bono endorse every left-wing cause they can find, but tend to personally exempt themselves from its consequences - Bono's planes, the drummer's desire to build up Malibu because he's special, all the tax evasion. They are so lame they claim they wouldn't release an album because the election of Trump destroyed the arc of the universe???? Ohhhkay........

Forget them, I think this thing will be repealed - every far-left nutjob and globalist in the world (think Soros) is pushing this just like that did when they won SSM by a landslide. This thing is going to be a little closer, but not by much. This repeal will give Ireland more permissive abortion "rights" than in the current UK, but they still won't be as lax as here in the US.

Just because you haven't heard anything does not mean Pope Francis was AWOL. I am sure that every Catholic Parish and other Catholic organizations were instructed by him to work against this happening.
