UK to vote on SSM

Please pray: the British House of Commons is today to debate and vote on legislation to redefine marriage. It's technically a free vote, so not party-political, so our MPs are free to vote as they wish. I believe firmly in the power of prayer to influence individuals and would ask all here to pray that a majority of MPs will vote against this law. Humanly speaking, that doesn't seem possible, but for God all things are possible...:praying:

Story here.

England is in serious trouble. Whoever presented the legislation is saying that clergy who preach agains ssm will not be punished if it is passed making it more tempting to pass but reviewing English history I think its a ploy to get it passed and then later to abuse people who preach that ssm is wrong. I constantly pray for England.

As expected most of our MP's have voted for ssm :(

This is a very sad day for our country :(

It's a sad day for this world, regardless of which side of the pond that we live on.

Perhaps, too, it's just another sign that we are getting ever so closer to the day our Creator will rain down fire and brimstone on this wicked world. God's great patience came to and end with Sodom. That's plain from the scriptures.

How much longer? Only He knows how much time we have left on our downward spiral towards destruction.

May God have mercy on us all, on both sides of the pond.
