John 1:1, . . . with God . . . was God. . . .

1) The always Immutable God.
2) The always mutable Person with God.

1) How God was always God never changed.
2) Only how the mutable Person with God changed.

Was always the Word.
Was always with God.
As was God never changed.
Was always the Son with God.
How the Word changed with God.
1) Creator. John 1:2-3.
2) God to His creation. John 1:18.
John 1:9. Hebrews 1:3. 1 John 1:5.
3) The incarnation. John 1:14.

Discuss.

Genesis 1:26, . . . God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: . . . .

Genesis 3:8, . . . they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: . . . .

The premise appears to be that God incarnate was unchangeable but the human Jesus was changeable. I believe if that is the premise, it is invalid.

God's character and purpose are unchangeable. But God responds to human choices, thus if we repent, He will relent. Jesus emptied Himself of some of His Divine attributes such at He could experience being "in the flesh" just as we humans do.

If anyone studies the associated verses concerning God's immutability, the majority assert God keeps His word, what He says He will do, He does.
God is also timeless, He does not grow old and die as humans, He is the same forever and ever.

For example God's loving kindness is forever, He will not forsake us.

God's purpose is unchangeable.

Beware of those who refer to God's immutability, and apply the doctrine outside of scriptural support.

It would seem you do not even understand the difference between being someone with God and actually being God. So how can we even discuss this?

God always had loving kindness because He always had His Son.

John 17:24, Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

Being with God and being God means our Triune God has more than one Person.

God is not like humans, He does not age, but is the same forever.

God is not like humans, He does not lie, He does what He says. He keeps His conditional covenants.

John 1:1, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The Trinity being the three Persons, God the Father, the Son of God and the Holy Spirit, they being the One LORD God.

I am sorry, but John 1:1 does NOT provide support for the Holy Spirit being one of the three Persons of the Trinity. Other verses support that attribute of our Triune God.

Everyone should know the Person with God was God, God the Son. He is not "mutable." He does not age, but is the same yesterday, today and forever. He does not lie, but keeps His word, He will NOT forsake us.

Duh. The Holy Spirit is not meantioned in John 1. But is known as the third Person in the Trinity.

Romans 8:9, But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Romans 8:16, The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: . . . .

Are you a Tritheist? God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

. John 1:2-3, The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

One God in three Persons is not Trithest. I am saddened that you do not know that.
Yes, the Trinity is One God being three Persons.

Tritheism presents, the three Persons as, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
