Urgent! Heart Transplant

raying::1_grouphug:We rejoice with others to YOU dear Lord Who is Worthy of all praise! You are have done marvelous miracles in this young lady's life!
Continue to heal her completely! May each member of her body accepted the new heart!! Lord, give strength and continue faith to believe You for many more miracles. Instruct the medical staff,in the name of Jesus. Amen.

 

Another update from her dad: She is having a much better day today and we have some great test results. Her billirubin (liver count) was 27 (first time below 30). Her echo showed an ejection fraction of 65 which is super, and the biopsy was zero (no rejection). We thank God and praise his name.

 

update from her mother: Trying out the trache collar. This means that she is doing ALL the breathing ON HER OWN. She has been on the collar the last 25 minutes and is still doing great. Respiratory may switch back and forth to let her "rest" over the next few days. Next step will be to let her sit in a Bed/chair combo. She has also started working with Amelia (physical therapy) to stretch and strengthen her muscles. We give God all the glory..

**from her dad yesterday: She had another good day yesterday. She was able to breathe without the respirator for over 10 hours. We are so thankful to Jesus and continue to pray and anticipate her complete healing.

***from her dad today: Thank you for your fervent prayers that have lifted up our daughter. She has had a great week, and continues to improve. We ask for a special request this weekend: If you would please pray specifically for healing in her left foot. The vascular surgeon has determined that he needs to remove some of her toes, but we are asking God to bring life back to those toes. Let us petition to God our concerns, and ask for His favor in our request that the doctors do not need to perform this surgery.

 

Praying for her, and specifically for her foot and toes.

 

Joining in praying for the healing of her left foot and that You dear Lord will perform indeed another miracle of healing her leg and toes so the doctors will not have to remove her toes.

on her dad's page today: "Eating at olive garden with my bride. Had great visit with her and going back after lunch. We had many convers(at)ions (she was writing). Making progress every day keep praying for toes. A lot of pain in feet which is a positive sign."

Thanks to our sister dcorbett for the following WONDERFUL update!!!

This just posted by her Dad:
Had a great weekend with *her* at Emory as we were able to talk for hours (she had to write), but I told her she had become a good listener (she stuck out her tongue at me). She has improved so much. Kidneys are working some but still on dialysis. Liver count still high but getting better. Heart working good. Lungs good and breathing on her own for four days. Reducing trachea tube size today and doing biopsy test. Swallow test later this week (she has only had two ice chips since December 27 and she said they were heavenly). Had a lot of pain in her feet and toes this weekend which we believe is a good sign. God is good and faithful. Keep praying for her left foot and toes along with a zero on the biopsy and thanking Him for what he has done. We are so blessed to have so many friends willing and faithful to lift *our daughter* up to (the) Lord and walk this journey with us. God bless.

from her dad: She is improving everyday and we are truly grateful. She does have a respiratory infection that we are having to overcome, but this too will be healed. Keep thanking God for His healing, intervention, and provisions as we pray for feet, toes and a complete healing. It is a wonderful thought that I can send out this post to hundreds and thousands will lift our daughter up to the Lord. Thank y'all for your faithfulness.

follow-up from her Mom: The antibiotics seem to be working for her. Waiting on the blood cultures to come back. Her shoulder surgery wound opened so it had to be packed with wet gauze. Swallowing exercises are on our agenda to strengthen her muscles. She continues to get a little stronger every day. Praises to God for each day and His blessings.

 

Praise the Lord for Your healing power on this young Christian lady and continue to hold her and her family in our prayers.

Sunday's update from Dad: Sitting with her this morning. She is improving and we Praise God for her progress. Keep her in your prayers as we still need healing for her heart, kidneys, liver, feet and toes. Doing swallowing exercises and has a great attitude. We place our trust totally in the Lord.

Update from our sister herself: She says: "hello my dearest, most loved everyone! today has been so good. lets all just praise God. also, in all of this, dont forget my doner family." Great to hear from her!

Her husband adds these concerns: "She is doing okay; however we are having problems with infection in one of her wound sites and fungal infection in her bloodstream. The wound site is looking better, we'll know more when the test come back later this week. The specialists are recommending an echo of her heart to make sure the infection hasn't spread there."
