And he is proven wrong again.
He said on July 8,
“The jury is still out. But the likelihood there’s going to be the Taliban overrunning everything and owning the whole country is highly unlikely,” Biden said on July 8, according to NPR.

For decades, Joe Biden has touted himself as a foreign policy genius. As a United States senator, he never had to make a decision or bear responsibility for running off at the mouth. As vice-president, he was given backwaters such as Ukraine that he reportedly turned into a family piggy bank.

But now he is president. He owns the utter disaster that Afghanistan has become; and the sudden about-face of the Pentagon to send 3,000 fully-armed combat troops back into the fray shows that even the woke military bosses Biden installed can wake up and smell the coffee.

Yes but a majority of well educated and informed voters voted for Mr. Biden and his crime family. Why anyone would vote for any Democrat is mind-boggling. I will admit Mr. Clinton was not completely incompetent, but he was a nasty person. But Mr. Carter, Mr. Obama, and Mr. Biden were and are completely incompetent. Mr. Trump certainly had his character flaws, but he was a competent President. And he was on the road to solving problems that had challenged America for years.

No, they’ve upped that # twice already, I think it is 8,000 now. They will arrive too late to save Kabul. I always visit Ace on days like this. Even when the worst is happening all around us, there are pithy posts/posters there who always make me smile……like this:

Our troops. are surrounded by Taliban fighters. Perhaps the only way out is by the airport in Kabul, or maybe negotiate a cease fire with the Taliban while we evacuate.
Our 'Commander in Chief' is a clown of the highest degree. The LEFT now is also very unhappy with Biden. This is being compared to the Vietnam collapse.

Personally, I think the Afghan people just gave up, like what happened in Vietnam.
The Afghan army melted away.
Taliban now have all the weapon systems, drones, armaments, vehicles we gave the country.

Biden is incompetent, he has made a mess of this country in six months, and I'm afraid the worst is yet to come. He is beholden to foreign governments only, Kabul could have not fallen faster. The American intelligence agencies were wrong again, their intel on Afghanistan was terrible, the agencies are all politicized and weaponized now.

Afghanistan's fall could give the green light for China to go ahead and invade Taiwan, US = paper tiger.

Biden wont do much if China takes Taiwan. Or if Russia takes back Ukraine. You know Ukraine was a part of Russia for 300 years.

US is tied to China with heavy economic and production ties, we are bound together with them. We make very little stuff anymore; China makes it for us. That was what President Clinton wanted, a service economy for the US and China or other far away place for 'dirty' factories and heavy industry.
