Some people ask why the US is not there. Perhaps it won't be. However, what we do see is that some kingdom that influences the world in a bad way and persecutes His people will be burned with fire before the Tribulation starts or around that time somewhere. Why? Because after that happens, some kings and the AnciChrist receive power! That means that Jesus has not returned yet and will not for a little while. It occurs to me that this does fit the USA. The whole world is deceived by anti-Christ, except God’s elect. They will suffer tribulation everywhere. The USA, if it still exists, will not be spared.

Oh, I forgot to mention in the OP that the discussion is for people that do not think Rev was either in the past, or a bunch of silly symbolism.
Right, but for the US to exist we need some other major power to be completely destroyed and burned up by the time the Tribulation is here. Then those ten kings and the AC can have their little time to rule. The country that is burned needs to pollute the world with abominations and filthiness, make other nations rich, and be responsible for the death of people around the world as well as the death of many of God's people. This nation has to be destroyed in one hour, one day! If not the US, any suggestions?

Speculation is pointless. The prophecy is deliberately vague, like most, and “filling in the blanks” with speculation leads to error.
Scripture is clear about the prophecy of Christ return. It occurs after the great tribulation of the saints, the heavens are split open, the angels collect the saint; dead and alive, followed immediately by the great throne judgment and eternity in heaven with Jesus.
No new temple, no new sacrifices, no 1000 year reign on earth.

Great, so the churches don't refer to the ages. That's a good start.
Now, to realize that Revelation is a wonderfully encouraging book to all believers, providing the knowledge that our King loves us in every tribulation and will return to avenge our enemies. Yes, let's take it literally and throw out the pretrib rapture. We can also agree that the United States is irrelevant to the book of Revelation.

Did I mention churches? No. I talked about the end time, and the Rapture and how Babylon gets destroyed before the final kings come to rule. Is there something in there that you have trouble following?
How would the greatest corrupter of the world and greatest war machine be unrelated to the end time? Do you comprehend or believe that there will be a final period before Jesus returns of great trouble unlike anything ever seen?
Do you understand that a great power in the end will be destroyed in a day? Do you understand traders out in the sea will look from a distance in fear at the rising smoke of what happened, lamenting over the nation? Or did you think that was some fairy tale? Or what? Try commenting in an intelligent way. Try relating to the topic. Try saying what you mean and letting everyone know what exactly that may be.

You brought up Revelation. Are the first 3 chapters irrelevant to the whole? Those seven churches received encouragement from the Revelation God gave them.
First, please realize the US is not the center of God's attention. It is an irrelevant thing when reading scripture. To focus on the US in looking at Revelation is to project US culture and history on the text. It leads to a grossly distorted and twisted interpretation of Revelation.
I highly recommend Robert H Mounce commentary on Revelation if you are looking for a commentary that doesn't waste time speculating.

I did not mention the first three chapters. I mentioned Rev 19, and parts of the 2 previous chapters. Try to focus.
If it were Babylon, the only attention we are talking about here is allowing (or causing) it to be totally burned in one day, one hour. No one could stuff that into history!

Maybe people recommending books could explain what they say by making a point from them.For example do they think Rev was all history? Do they believe what the bible says about the last seven year period? Honestly, you are wasting your time on speculation. Read Revelation to be encouraged that God has you marked in every and any tribulation that comes your way.
Grasp the promises Jesus gives you, personally, in his Revelation. His Revelation is meant to give you great hope and joy, not to have you wasting your time on irrelevant speculation.
The Lord gives you that answer in the first three verses
Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
1:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
What good would it do John, to tell John and those suffering Christians at the time of something that will happen 2,000 plus years in the future?...
