' "Sheep are popular with people and carry positive emotional connotations. So perhaps they can reach many people emotionally when logic and scientific reasoning don't do the job," the organiser of the campaign, Hanspeter Etzold, told Reuters.

Etzold works with shepherds, companies and animals to run team-building events in the northern German town of Schneverdingen.

"I have noticed how enthusiastically the sheep are received and that it simply reaches people deep inside, which is perhaps not possible rationally, with rational arguments," he said.

The animals, which belong to shepherd Steffen Schmidt and his wife, followed pieces of bread spread on the ground to form the 100 metre long syringe shape as they were filmed by drone. '

Christ died for His sheep. So regardless of the slur that anti-vaxxers have attached to sheep, I am thankful to God that I am one of Christ's sheep. And I will continue refer to myself as one of Christ's sheep, regardless of how much disdain anti-vaxxers feel toward the word.

AMEN! I AM thankful for that redemption, too.

There's a difference, however, in The Good Shepherd ... and what we have here (I'm not badmouthing Steffin ... but the govts' pushing these jabs? they get what they deserve.

Human governments are run by fallen human beings - all of them, always have been and always will be as long as this present heavens and earth exist - and they are all the result of man rejecting God's government in the Garden of Eden. Does God use them to maintain some semblance of order on this earth? Yes. However, people are senselessly beating their head against a wall when they expect fallen human beings, in general, and fallen human-based governments, in particular, to act in any other way than as fallen humans beings.

Anti-vaxxers, especially the ones that call themselves "Christians", should stop disparaging a precious word that Christ used to refer to His elect.

we should be careful.

but sheep perfectly describes what is happening. Sheep to the slaughter ... by the Worthless Shepherd (Zech 11)

This doesn't change the relationship with Jesus. This doesn't decrease His deity and it doesn't castigate the elect ... because these are two separate groups.

I think we need to be more careful about word redefinition by those who would pervert that which God has given us.

... and because I expect you would rather be more precise than imprecise ... the term which should be used is anti-cv-vaxxers.

What did they get? What did they deserve?

you are sensitive to the criticism of governments who are acting well outside the bounds of what is righteous. They get that criticism. They will get a big dose of Overcomer here before too long; by the Blood of The Lamb and the word of their testimony because they did not love their lives unto death.

All human governments act well outside the bounds of what is righteous - always have and always will as long this present heavens and earth exist. The only perfect government, that didn't act well outside the bounds of what is righteous, was the government of God in the Garden of Eden, and man rejected God's government.

I couldn't disagree more. But it's not the first time we have disagreed.
did you first read Zech 11 before replying?

I highly recommend you do. The Word uses this language to describe the antichrist ... the same term as used to describe Jesus ... Shepherd.

calling promoters of the cv jabs sheep is accurate and it does not change the meaning in the illustration of "the elect" one iota.

the antichrist

This is antiChrist - 1 John 4:3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

Then again, you and I have totally different eschatological views.

that may be ...

did you read Zech 11 yet?

I read it as part of my Bible reading in 2021.

great! so you understand that just because the same word is used doesn't equate one to the other ... it's a descriptor.

and it's an accurate one. The worthless shepherd is the shepherd who will kill, not save.

You're right in your spirit of antichrist ... as there have been these throughout history. Zech is referring to the one person who will stop the sacrifices in the Temple. The one who confirms a strong covenant with many for 1 week. THE Antichrist.

The LAST manifestation of the spirit of antichrist.

"Woe to the worthless shepherd who leaves the flock!" - Zechariah 11:17

Your anger appears to be badly misplaced, Two Wings. You should stop disparaging the "sheep" and direct your comments towards those whom you might deem to be "worthless shepherds" instead.

I have already proven through the Scriptures, especially the book of Hebrews, the falseness of your eschatology in our private conversation a while back. But this is not the thread for that and I see no point in rehashing our prior discussion.
