Park Police spokesman Sergeant Eduardo Delgado said in an interview with Business Insider on Thursday night that the USPP should have said it did not use two specific, common gases found in tear gas: CS, also known as compound 2-chlorobenzalmalononitrile, and CN, or chloracetophenone.

“When we were referencing the term tear gas, we were talking about CS or CN,” Delgado said, noting that the force was explicitly told not to use CS or CN via USPP radio during the protests on Monday evening. “It was just an incorrect term that we used, we should have said we did not use CS or CN.”

These same reporters keep saying these are “mostly peaceful protests” and fail to mention the people killed, police that are injured, the shops destroyed/looted, the monuments defaced and buildings burned.

But, as Barr stated, the plan was to move the parameter back due to the wide spread violence, arson, confrontations that had already taken place in that area.

So we have the USPP admitting teargas but not CS or CN was used and Arlington police admitting that the protestors were peaceful and not given enough time to disperse. There is video evidence of all this as well as evidence that one of the police forces is lying about using CS and OC gas cannisters and incontrovertible evidence that the USPP acting chief is lying. Also video evidence of media being assaulted.
