USPP Spokesperson: Incorrect to say we did not use teargas

Park Police contradict the White House's claims that it didn't use tear gas on protesters, admit they were 'incorrect' in saying pepper balls aren't tear gas

Park Police spokesman Sergeant Eduardo Delgado said in an interview with Business Insider on Thursday night that the USPP should have said it did not use two specific, common gases found in tear gas: CS, also known as compound 2-chlorobenzalmalononitrile, and CN, or chloracetophenone.

“When we were referencing the term tear gas, we were talking about CS or CN,” Delgado said, noting that the force was explicitly told not to use CS or CN via USPP radio during the protests on Monday evening. “It was just an incorrect term that we used, we should have said we did not use CS or CN.”

The CDC is full of crap. CS and CN have always been called "tear gas". O.C. is not called tear gas.

Exactly! Now the Park Police are lying. They weren't before.

Giving into the woke PC crowd is embarrassing sometimes.

Quite frankly it doesnt matter. They were well justified and within legal boundaries to use tear gas even if they had. The hate Trump and America crowd always try to exaggerate what ever their opponents say or do while minimizing their own behavior or the things they support.

The op is much ado about nothing.

It’s not okay for the government to gas peaceful protestors for a photo op which is hilariously pandering to people like you who don’t have the foresight to realize that on their own.

You so called Conservatives just can’t seem to get enough of big government and tyrannical methods.

Everyone remember the tone of this place when those yahoos took over the wildlife refuge in Oregon? It sure was a different tune and those people were actually militant.

They weren’t peaceful. They were throwing things at police.

Lol. Little too late for that.
It is never too late to tell the truth and correct the lies that are being promoted by those with a radical liberal leftest ideology.

Good for him. He did a great job and she looked like a biased leftest promoting a lie instead of a reporter looking for truth in a story.

peace to you

That’s what Barr says. Reports from the site indicate otherwise.
What reports? They reports from the people throwing bricks? The reports from the police were they were throwing objects at them.

These same reporters keep saying these are “mostly peaceful protests” and fail to mention the people killed, police that are injured, the shops destroyed/looted, the monuments defaced and buildings burned.

But, as Barr stated, the plan was to move the parameter back due to the wide spread violence, arson, confrontations that had already taken place in that area.

Peace to you

The police themselves admitting to it. That’s not enough though because Barr went on TV and said some stuff so he’s right and the hundreds that saw otherwise with their own eyes are wrong. Okay.

Who is trying to split hairs with these Op's trying to hold to a false narrative?
Game, set ,match:
It is the narrative of those who can be fired by Trump vs video evidence and eye witness testimony of every individual who was there.
