I doubt that's what he meant. He's merely pointing out that the left hates the fact that there are many conservative minorities who adhere to the Constitution. Justice Thomas, for example. The left goes particularly ballistic when minorities dare to be conservative.

Yes, as election of a conservative female/latino/Black will cause the Liberals/Dems to have to pubically state that they are not really for all minorities, but just the ones that maintain the mindset the Dems wish to foster on them!

Who cares what the left thinks about the choice? They are powerless to change it or stop it.

Trump could appoint a one eyed black woman from Pango Pango and the hypocritical left still won't like it if she's a constitutionalist. So why do anything to appease them? Everybody already knows they're liars and hypocrites concerning minorities anyhow.

I say appoint the best qualified without regard to race or sex. End of story.

But to the point, politics, like it or not, is a bit of a PR game. It's the sad truth. Trump won in part for his policy positions, and in part for his marketing skills. It's just the way it is. He knew which buttons to push at the right time.
