Valentine's Day

    Since Valentine's Day is our wedding anniversary, DH and I celebrate! We usually have a nice supper, sometimes out, sometimes I cook his favorite meal. He buys me chocolates or roses and I usually buy him a nifty coffee mug with a cute saying on it, and fill it with colored paper and sugar-free candy...maybe a balloon, and of course we exchange cards.

    I used to be more creative, but we're settling into the Golden years where we've already done everything. LOL

    Well, the day actually stinks like...really stinky stuff.

    The asthma thing is still in full gear, agitated by bronchitis now, so no church for me today.
    So whatever the case, Valentine's Day was gonna be celebrated later anyhow. I do feel kinda bad about the three oldest...keeping with tradition, we were gonna do a Chinese New Year thing and it would have been cool combined with V-Day, but I just can't right now. So they got nothing, but we will make cookies when I feel better. The two youngest got slammed with goodies and special treats from school and then a bunch more from their grandmother, so they're pretty sugared up.

    I am SICK of being SICK! I'm half tempted to just pack a bag and walk out the door and go spend some time alone in a cave in the forest, growling at birds and biting stuff in between naps. Except there's probably no forest around here and I don't feel like walking far enough to find one...
