A co-worker of mine's father lives in Venezuela and is very sick. I doubt he thinks it's funny.
Come to think of it, the serious reporting that I can remember on the plight of Venezuelans comes from NPR.
I remember the left here praising their government not too many years ago. Socialism at its finest.

I remember many in the media talking about how wonderful it was there under Chavez. We have $3 a gal Gas and under wonderful Chavez, they had 7cent per gallon gas.

Let me help you out. The source of this video is a communist dissident. Notice that the guy at the end says "no." The professor is the fool for first rejoicing in socialism and then saying that it Chavisimo when it is clear that socialism collapsed Venezuela.
Wow, it was not me that said starvation is amusing. The source of the video is Hispanic communist dissidents. I doubt if NPR told you about the Cuban military in Venezuela or how it is a communist/socialist plan to deliberately starve the population or how Chavez's daughter has five or six billion dollars stolen from the people by her thug father. Did NPR mention the role of the fascist Peronist Pope in all this misery?

You are missing the point entirely. As I pointed out to you before, this is the work of a communist dissident. Notice that the last word of the video is from the American journalist, who says, "No." As the anti-communists have been pointing out for a long time it is the work of socialism/communism to starve the population. The starvation in Venezuela is deliberate and a plan by the Castros, who Oscar Arias, former President of Costa Rica and a Nobel Peace Prize winner, are the de facto rulers of Venezuela, which the communists dissidents properly call Cubazuela. The Russians ten days ago sent a tanker of oil to Cuba because of the communist-induced collapse of the vast Venezuelan oil fields. Other players in Venezuela are Iran and communist China and North Korea. Also, Venezuela and Cuba are heavily involved in narco-terrorism.
You should support the communist dissidents, the only sane voices in the Latin American.

Really, you are the one who mentioned "funny" and "joke" and then tried to ascribe those things to me. You have failed to deal with the issues and have tried to say that anti-communism is just joking. You are so far out in left field that radar can't find you. No one but you said that the video was a joke or an attempt to be funny. Those are only your words. You are responsible for your words and you only.

As are your words yours only. The video made a joke about a diet and you did the same. Why you are unable to own it is your problem. You did make a joke about starvation being a "foolproof way to lose weight." I don't think it is clever or funny. Your dishonesty on this is unnecessary and unbecoming but par for the course. Take a long look at the mirror and think about what you posted. The video did make an anti communist comment which I already said that i agree with (you conveniently are ignoring this in order to defend your tasteless joke.)
